The only reason I gave 1 star is because there is nothing lower. On 6/23/23 I purchased a Bolen 110 gas trimmer, my husband put it together and it appeared ok I thought. The next day on Saturday I attempted to use it, but it would rev very fast, sputter and then it would cut off when lowered toward the ground. This continued for a while and consistently would not work. I attempted to use the trimmer several times with no success. I became afraid it was revving too high and would damage the engine. I am familiar with the Bolen line of equipment and realized something was wrong with this trimmer. I decided to return it to Lowe's. On Monday 26, 2023 (3 days after I purchased it) I took the trimmer back to the Millerville store. I explained to the person behind the customer service returns desk I was not satisfied with the trimmer because it was not working as it should. She replied "you can't return an item because you are not satisfied with it, this is a piece of gas equipment and we cannot take it back. I stated "BUT IT DOES NOT WORK." She said there are no exceptions no returns on gas equipment. I could not believe I PAID $168.49 for a piece of equipment that did not work and Lowe's refused to take it back, there was no discussion of refund, repair or replace. I was stuck with this newly bought ill-working trimmer with no remedy. Lowe's obviously doesn't believe in customer satisfaction. As horrible as I was treated, I will NEVER shop at Lowe's ever again. I refuse to pay for something that is not working. DON'T shop at this store horrible, customer service and crap equipment. Gwen A.

Two separate contractors failed to show up to pre-scheduled appointments to measure for an outside door-after I had gone into the store to pay the measurement 35.00 fee. After two missed appointments, one came out to take the measurements-which should have been sent to Lowe's within 24 hrs. However-the measurements weren't available after 48 hours. I called again 6 days later-held on for 30 minutes-was never able to speak with anyone in the doors dept. eventually was disconnected, then telephoned again. Asked for a supervisor-put on hold again. Held on for another 25 minutes but the manager never picked up. The customer service is DEPLORABLE!! Don't use this store if you can avoid it!

What a waste of time and gas. I drove out to the Lowes in South Baton Rouge. It took 15 minutes just to get someone to help with a simply vinyl siding question. They guy who showed up was useless and sent me to Customer Service. They were useless and sent me to the Pro desk. At the pro desk they just said all we can do is go online. Completely wasted. Solution? I'll be picking up what I need from Home depot tomorrow and will forget about any future business with Lowes.

Washer and dryer Our second hand washer we had for years had started to act so my husband and I decided it was finally time for a new matching set washer and dryer. We decided to use lowes since our experience with our fridge had been a good and easy from start to finish with purchase, delivery and set up. But we could not have been more disappointed in our experience with the washer and dryer. We went to lowes and purchased our new washer and dryer 3/5/23. Prior to completing our order we explained to the salesman that we would need a delivery after 2:00pm on Tuesday or Thursday or after 12:00pm on a Friday due to both my husband and I working in healthcare and having patients that rely on us being at work. He explained he would put in a request for that time slot and it should not be a problem. We set up delivery for Thursday 3/9/23 at 2:30pm. We received a phone call 3/8/23 the day before our delivery stating that someone would deliver our washer and dryer at 10:30am-1:30pm on 3/9/23 (not what we requested). We called the lowes in Baton Rouge on Millerville Road where we purchased the washer and dryer and explained the situation. They recommended we call the delivery service. I then called the delivery service number and asked that our delivery time be pushed back. The girl told me there was no way she could change the delivery and I would have to call the store. She told me they could change the delivery date but would not be able to promise a afternoon time slot for delivery. I explained how disappointed I was in lowes customer service and the girl replied back to me in a very frustrated tone "just because you don't like my answer doesn't mean I am bad at my job" and then she hung up on me. I never implied she was bad at her job and was only looking for answers and expressed how disappointed I was that I was getting no answers or help. I called the store back to explain the situation again and what delivery service had told me and I got hung up on several times and passed around from person to person. We finally spoke to a lady who was willing to help and she ensured me that she would be there in the morning and would tell the delivery people that we needed our washer and dryer delivered after 2:30pm. The delivery people called my husband on the day of delivery and told him they were heading our way at 10:30am that morning. He told them we were not home and would not be home until 2:30pm like we had told them several times before. They replied that they were done for the day and were going home and we would need to call the store to reschedule. We decided to go get it ourselves that afternoon. It's very inconvenient to be without a washer for that long and to not know if the same thing would continue to happen since nobody could ensure us a afternoon time. I could understand if I was asking for 6pm or 8pm time slot out of working hours but the time we were requesting was in my option very reasonable and during regular working hours. My husband picked it up that afternoon and I had to ask a cousin to go out of his way to help him unload because I could not help with heavy lifting since I am pregnant. The whole reason we decided to make this purchase with lowes was because of the convince of delivery and set up option. We did not get that nor did anyone try to work with us to ensure we got the service we deserved as loyal customers. We got the washer and dryer set up and it did well for a couple loads and then on 3/19/23 the washer began to act up. My clothes started to come out soaking wet to the point to having to ring them out in the tub. Therefore we are again without a working washer. A brand new non working washer at that. I expect better quality and service especially when you pay over $2,000 for a washer and dryer set. We had purchased the 3 year warranty plan so I tried to submit a claim online 3/20/23 and it said it was denied and then my husband called the number 3/21/21 first thing in the morning and we are now waiting on a return phone call for someone to come out and look at our

TO ALL MY YOUNG PEOPLE APPLYING FOR THIS JOB: The workers that's 30 or older are disrespectful the supervisors only care for themselves and never care about leading the team. I've worked as an overnight stocker and the overnight supervisor (Gwen) IS HIGHLY DISREPECTFUL. she would not allow me to go get water or use the bathroom at all throughout the shift I've even tried countless times with her, and she would not allow me to go relieve myself. I've even told her I was feeling dehydrated after 4 hours without water. We even had a deaf associate to where she couldn't hear the supervisor and the supervisor completely humiliated her. The whole overnight team tried to reason with Gwen countless times, and she has failed the team as a leader. To the new people applying for the Overnight position this woman is HIGHLY DISRESPECTFUL to the young employees that works with her.

17 minutes for an associate to come out and exchange a propane can? Who is running this Lowe's? The employees have zero pride. Feels like they want your experience to be poor? You guys can double your sales with employees that care just a little bit. Sad actually.

Ordered a refrigerator for delivery, they did deliver the fridge, but did not haul away the old fridge. Even after I informed the delivery guy I paid for the haul away he still left it sitting in my kitchen. After 1 1/2 days of being lied to, hung up on, put on hold and given the runaround the guys from cortana showed up and removed the old refrigerator. And that's after a failed attempt that Sunday morning Instead of taking care of the situation immediately, the management at millerville show me how inept they are. This situation should have been remedied the day of and within 2 hours. Millerville is a joke.

My husband and I are replacing some lighting in our house and decided to start by looking at fixtures at Lowes. Thankfully, Mr. Jimbo was working that day and gave us a PhD in all things can lighting!! He spent a good 15 minutes going through options and the mechanics behind the project. We also received help from other attentive associates as we were navigating the store. Thanks so much Lowe's!!!

They are either overworked, understaffed and seriously undertrained. There is no customer service here I ordered a pet door which was in stock to be installed. They charge $ to have an installer come out to measure after I gave measurements The installer showed up and immediately pointed out a spot smaller than a dime at the bottom of the door then he asked if I wanted the outside molding replaced at additional cost . I said no as it was not necessary. I am a flooring contractor and know what is necessary and not necessary. I can't do the installation as I am now handicapped . I went back to Lowe's And am told the money hungry installer does not want to do the job (Wonder why) Now they show 2 doors in stock but can't locate them. I need to wait and order again. Now a week later I call customer service and they place me on hold 3 times to look after 20 minutes they cut me off. I call back again same situation cut me off again Now I am pissed off and want store manager who does not answer her phone Call store again and speak to gentleman who says she is busy and takes my number to call me back Lots of luck to get a call back DO NOT SHOP AT LOWES

I wish I could give less than one star for Lowes on Millerville! I went to buy a storm door and someone came out to measure for $35 fee. The door was $299, plus $139 installation, minus the $35 measure fee. So I expected to pay $400 plus tax for the door/install today. NOT!!!!! A piece of plastic strip needed to be put at the top of my door which cost $5!!! GUESS WHAT!?!?!?!? The tacked on an additional $68.00 to the installation cost!!!! There is no way I am paying for that! So I'm out $35 and I left the storm door there!!!! ALSO, a few months ago I had a new microwave installed. There was a gap because the old microwave was about an inch different. The installer said they don't take care of that. So the fan was not connected to the duct correctly and blowing out in the cabinet. I called Lowes and they never returned my call. I SHOULD HAVE LEARNED MY LESSON THEN! I WILL NEVER SHOP LOWES AGAIN!!!!

I pass by this location daily on my way to work. I stopped in the lot several times over the past six months because I was saving to buy a 4x6 or 5x8 Carry-On utility trailer. I made up my mind to go with the 5X8 three months ago when I saw they had 3 in stock. I went on 5/30/2020 to buy and no one was available to make the sale. I called every day in the afternoon from 6/1 - 5/2020 and no one ever answered the phone. I found out Tractor Supply also sales the exact same Carry-On trailers, but none are located in Baton Rouge. Well, Tractor Supply associates answer their phones within four rings! Their associates were very helpful. I drove to their Gonzales location and purchased the 5x8 Carry-On trailer today! I was in and out of the lot with the trailer in-tow in less than 25 minutes!!! I wasted 5x more time on the phone just trying to reach a human at Lowe's!!! Never again will I waste my energy with Lowe's....

READ the reviews. Lowes on O'neal hasn't had a good review for appliances. The shipping department is horrible. I bought a dryer the 19th. I was assured there was one in stock and delivery would be on the 27th. The floor model had the door opening on the wrong side. I need it to open on the other side. I called the delivery department, not only to set up a time but to make sure the door opened on the correct side. The door could be corrected there - any adjustments or fixes or inability to fix would be done at the store before I have to wait all day. I called numerous times and got no answer or they hung up without answering. I tried the national customer service and got "we cannot help you at this time". Today( the day it was suppose to be delivered) they tell me there isn't one in stock and one has to be shipped to them. THIS HAS BEEN THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. I have dealt with locally owned appliance stores in the past and will again. I can spend my money somewhere else.

I've seen the bad reviews offered on this page but I have to wonder if I am going to a different store!! Every time I have gone there, and there have been many to say the least, the gtreetings are there, the customer support is there, the advisisng necessary for what I need has been there and, above all, continues to be there. My experience with this store has been wonderful and in all of my dealings they have bee honest. The gentleman in the plumbing department has the knowledge of an encyclopedia!1 He gopes that extra mile all the time not just with me but I've seen him with other clients and how he works hard to help them. The ladies at Customer Service and Returns could not be more helpful. Overall, I love going there and will continue to go there!!

Don't try to purchase flooring or install from the Cortana store. They will jerk you around and then suddenly the cost is 1000 more than originally quoted. Ridiculous, and terrible customer service.

Many, many employees, very little help. They just walk around aimlessly or tell you they don't work in this department. Its kind of comical but mostly annoying.
