Mike's Truck Stop is known as a safe track parking spot for many trucks. The parking lot is big enough for a lot of trucks and has diesel lanes. Diesel is sold at a good price and the station offers a Mudflap discount diesel. Food and groceries are sold at a good price and there is a gas station for travelers. The place also sells liquor. It is a place to get a drink and snacks, diesel or rest. Some people say the area can feel sketchy during the day and especially at night. Cars pull up and watch from a short distance, and the parking lot is small and needs more lighting. There are no showers and only a small bathroom in a back storage room. Doors should be kept locked, even if only running in the store quick. The station is near downtown Baton Rouge, close to Planet Fitness. Some parking spots are used by dropped trailers, so there is small room for trucks at night. Loud music from gas station customers can make it hard to sleep, and there is debris around the outside.

Reviews are accurate. I didn't feel safe and this lot was tight. 2 kids in their pickup blocked me in and were looking around. I immediately left after I asked them to move

I don't recommend women visiting here at night, or people traveling to stop at night, it's alot of weird movement, unless u are legally armed.Went to get air, had cars pulling up sitting, watching from a short distance in the parking lot which is very small, needs more lighting around there

Cheapest gas always...and have every snack u could think of ...and the staff is amazingly cool I like all of them
