I was looking forward to a warm brownie at Panera, but unfortunately, it was served frozen solid. The cookie was also inedible - rock hard and impossible to enjoy. When I mentioned the issue to the manager, he explained they freeze the brownies and offered to microwave it for me. This wasn't what I expected for the price point at Panera. Considering Panera's premium prices, the food quality should be higher.Hopefully, Panera can improve its quality control to ensure customers get what they pay for.

I don't live close to this location but I do enjoy the Asian Chicken crunch salad. However, the problem is this: at least 1 out of every 3 orders I place to go have issues (usually through door dash, but the bags show up sealed and the dasher is usually on point). Like today, I ordered an asian chicken salad, paid $26 after tip and there was no chicken in my salad. It's the MAIN ingredient. This is not the first time this has happened either. Its usually a main ingredient missing, the wrong (or none at all) side, the entire wrong entree or a sweet tea that tastes completely unsweet. Additionally, there are no other locations in the area so I'm stuck with the gamble of if my food will actually be correct. Very aggravating.

Breakfast Bagels were good but the employee (Daijah) who took our order was even better. So helpful, friendly, patient. We need more workers like that!

Disappointed they stopped giving customers lemons lol. I'm paying $3 for a bagel then another $2 for a tiny cream cheese! Who's making the decisions here? Also, please bleach the ice dispenser --'plastic shoots. On multiple stores on several occasions, I've found mold caked on there.

A teenage girl named Holly in Panera Bread sitting near me with her parents handed me this folded up note as I was putting away my and my guest's tray this evening and said "excuse me ma'am. You dropped this." And then quietly whispered under her breath, "It's for the guy you're with." Wrapped inside was a $25 visa gift card. It for the homeless man I had picked up who accepted a dinner invitation. He was about 65 years old, long gray hair, with his sleeping bag and backpack in hand. I was hoping just to give him some time out of the cold, a warm meal, and a feeling of love and dignity. Unfortunately, a few minutes after the teenager handed the card to me, as we were getting up to leave, three police officers came inside responding from a call from the Panera manager to get him out of the restaurant, handcuffed him without explanation or a warrant, put him in the police car, and allegedly took him to LSU hospital for his "mental illness." I am following up on the police action while the Hollys of the world continue to inspire me and give me courage to continue on.

Care to explain how a resturant in today's world can take things off a sandwich but can't add anything ?? And also how you can't change the bread on a sandwich ..... was told this on 2 different items after the first one about the bread was ok I can deal but I can remove an item but can't add pepperoni like wow... drove off going to a place of service that provides service I wasn't asking to move the world ..... 10/10 would NOT recommend if you can't make minor edits to an order I wasn't asking for anything free I would've paid extra

My daughter and I went to this location and had an excellent experience. Deja was so friendly and helpful when she took our order. We dined in and during our meal Deja even came to check on us and see if we needed anything. That was above and beyond in my eyes. She was very friendly and is an asset to Panera: it definitely made our first time them memorable and we will be back!!!!

As a regular customer of Panera Bread in Baton Rouge, I am compelled to address a deeply alarming experience that raises serious health concerns. During my recent visit for weekly bagels, I discovered the cream cheese provided was not just expired, but a shocking 20 days past its expiration date. This egregious oversight in food safety standards is not only unprofessional but poses a significant health risk to customers. The taste of the bagel was noticeably off, leading me to inspect the cream cheese and uncover the expired date. Such negligence at a well-known establishment like Panera Bread is deeply troubling and unacceptable. The situation was further exacerbated by the store management's response. Upon reporting this critical food safety issue, the manager's solution was to offer another expired cream cheese, revealing that the entire refrigerator stock was expired. This response is not only inadequate but also demonstrates a concerning lack of competence and professionalism in handling such serious issues. It's not merely about replacing an expired item; it's about the potential health risks and the need for immediate, corrective action.I am currently feeling unwell and will be consulting a doctor, which underscores the severity of this situation. This incident at Panera Bread not only breaches basic food safety protocols but also raises substantial legal concerns under food safety and consumer protection laws. The fact that an entire refrigerator was stocked with expired food indicates a systemic problem that could have severe legal implications.I urge Panera Bread to take immediate action to rectify these issues, starting with comprehensive staff retraining and stringent checks on their food products. Ensuring the freshness and safety of food served is a fundamental responsibility, and customers' health and safety should never be compromised. This incident should serve as a wake-up call for the management at the Baton Rouge location to uphold the standards expected of a reputed food establishment.#panerabread #panera
