The worst service ever. I wanted to drop off a prescription at drive thru & pick it up later after the lady told me it would be a 30-min wait. My driver's license wasn't given back, went in to get it, left my wallet in the cart since I was coming back later. Inside, I was told it will be in a few min., it too so long, I asked for my driver's license back & said I would come back. After waiting, the lady brought my prescription, I laughed saying - now I've got 2 get my wallet. It's like they were desperate to make a sale. I have used them before and will never use them again. I was 7 min late getting back to work. The big black lady with the long braids demeanor was awful - she rolled her eyes. I will tell all of my friends and anybody else to be aware of this pharmacy.

I'm so grateful to Parker's! After being a CVS/Walgreens customer since moving to BR, I finally decided to go local because I was sick of both of them and would prefer to support small businesses. Parker's made it so easy to switch all my prescriptions online, they have an app that allows you to easily communicate, and my doctor says they are hands down the most responsive and problem-solving pharmacy she has worked with in both LA and CA. The staff are so friendly every time I come in, their drive thru is convenient, and they offer CBD and typical over the counter products. Their hours aren't as convenient as a bigger pharmacy, but their customer service makes it worth it in my opinion! Give them a chance you won't regret it.

Bad customer service. When I first started business with them a few years ago I was very pleased. But not filling medication because you assume I am pregnant is unacceptable.

Horrible experience with this pharmacy and the owner/pharmacist. One star because Google requires it.They refused to fill my husband’s Adderall prescription unless we also filled a non-scheduled prescription. My husband only takes one medication regularly. The pharmacist and at least one other employee went so far as to suggest we contact our doctor to get an additional medication like an allergy medication. Why would we ask for a medication we do not need and what doctor would prescribe such a thing? We were hopeful a local pharmacy that claims to be part of the community would be better than the chain pharmacies. They were worse. The pharmacist even lied to our doctor and told him they couldn’t fill the prescription because they were out of it.They do not care about their community. They gave us the run around and then lied to us. They wasted our time. They humiliated us and showed no concern for our health or wellbeing. This is not the type of business anyone should be supporting.

Beware Parker's Pharmacy. As some of you may know there has been a national Adderall shortage and it's been difficult for those of us with ADHD to get our meds filled for the past few months. Based on good feedback I've seen online I decided I would try to switch to Parker's Pharmacy because with Walgreens it takes so long to reach anyone to find out if they have it in stock. I called Parker's to see if they could fill it, and they told me they could not answer unless they had my RX in their system. I didn't think much of this at the time but given what has happened since I think this may have been the first red flag. I got my doctor to send them my RX and they then told me they wouldn't fill it unless I could transfer some other prescriptions to them as well because they wanted to "avoid scrutiny from the FDA". When I explained to them that this was the only RX I take, they said it was store policy that they couldn't prescribe just my Adderall. This certainly seems suspicious and I suspect they are just hoarding the drug because it's so hard to find right now. All this marketing about being locally owned and operated doesn't amount to anything when they are refusing to fill prescriptions for the local community.

Decided to give them a try because they are black owned. I literally have not had a worse experience getting my prescriptions filled. They either don’t have it or they cant fill because insurance issues. And the only way you will find out it isn’t being filled is if you call them. I’ve had to make multiple trips to pharmacy because they didn’t have all the medicine to fill my prescription. I’ve had prescriptions filled wrong. There is zero communication or accountability from pharmacy. I have called multiple times and been put on hold for so long I ultimately would just hang up and call again. This experience has been a complete nightmare! I do like the music they play in the lobby though.

I was pretty impressed with Parker’s when I started using them about a year ago. However, my wife had something called in by her NP recently, and apparently Parker’s put it under the NP’s name instead of my wife’s name? So it becomes one of those situations where Parker’s is like “we don’t have it.” So then my wife calls the NP, and they say “we definitely talked to Parker’s pharmacy and they have it.” Finally, after like 5 phone calls, Parker’s pharmacy says “oh here it is” with no apology or anything. In fact, Parker’s pharmacy sounded annoyed. And now that it’s been several days and several phone calls, Parker’s does not carry the medication and has to order the medication (why not order it when you receive the call from the NP?!), and it will be several more days. It’s a good thing it’s not something important and urgent like medicine…oh wait. And now apparently they don’t deliver for free. So I guess I should switch to Amazon pharmacy or something.

Have called multiple pharmacies to determine if they had my medication in stock. Parker’s refused to tell me so I Have to drive there and find out or find another pharmacy. I will opt for the latter as Parker’s can’t seem to answer a simple question that six other pharmacies have answered. Maybe Parker’s is unaware of gas prices or the fact that many people just don’t have the time.

I am so impressed with the communication that Parkers Pharmacy has. I am transferring my whole family from Avita Pharmacy and already the experience has been amazing. There's one medication that kept on getting delayed at Avita that they were not able to order. Instead of calling me about updates, talking to my doctor for any recommendations, or telling me to find another pharmacy to transfer the script over, I was given the run around about how the medication would be delivered (despite each promised day being told the same thing) for 3 days--- I had enough after they finally told me they couldn't even order it from their manufacture. If I hadn't called, I know for those 3 days I would've been left in the dark.I just want to say this.. I have family members that are always in need of medications, due to their health conditions, so I know what to look for in a good pharmacy. And that is COMMUNICATION. Parkers has this.Yesterday, I looked into pharmacies that deliver on Google and Parkers was one of the pharmacies that I contacted. They always answer and even call me back for updates. I spoke to this lady on the phone who told me she was going to call me back and I was so happy that she did. Great professionalism all around. So far they've called me 3x to give me updates on how the transfer request was going and not only that, the medication that I need is coming in today! The calls don't last long; I love how they give great customer service in giving you quick updates. If you have a family that needs a professional pharmacy that will not give you any run around and are busy, look into Parkers! I am especially pleased to find out they can also pre package your medication into pill packets. The staff has been kind and extremely knowledgeable.
