Gorgeous store. Have made several beautiful purchases. It's always inspirational to shop there.I usually have impeccable customer service, but I had the unfortunate displeasure of meeting the owner today. Per the other reviews, she has a record of disconnected disregard for those shopping.My experience: The front door was open with an attractive wreath and I held up my phone to take a photo of it to compare it later at my business to see if it would match well. She quickly walked over and paused her cell phone call to she let me know custom-decorated items weren't allowed to be photographed. I was taken aback by her greeting but respected her request as I explained I didn't know about the policy because it wasn't told to me before. As I walked inside she made sure to condemn me for not noticing a small-sized paper sign about photography that was listed in a completely different area, then she got back on the phone to speak with someone as if my cheery midday shopping was an irritation or inconvenience. Soon after I walked in I saw another item of interest and I politely walked over to clarify whether or not non-custom items could be photographed to avoid any further issue. She said it depends on my intentions and she incuriously asked me about the circumstances, which I explained, as she quickly decided I could not be trusted to photograph anything. This implied she expected me to go off of my vivid memory of the store as I later review decoration choices. I bid her a good day. The entire experience from arrival to leaving was under a minute; both her premise and the unwarranted suspicion were bizarre.I called Peregrin's after I left to give her feedback regarding her customer care compared to my very pleasant prior experiences. Her tone was un-phased and uninterested and only responded with an insincere "well, I'm sorry you feel that way" a few times. She did take the time to attempt a false claim that I didn't ask her if I could photograph anything and I reminded her of the sequence of events.The photography concerns over customer copycats are misguided and actually have the opposite effect on sales in that the lack of opportunity to photograph leads to customer indecision and altogether avoidance given the upper end price tag with a return policy only for store credit as well as the general inconvenience as it isn't an industry standard. Despite this policy I might have managed if something stood out although I definitely wouldn't have been able to make as many choices and I would've had to re-frequent the store instead of making decisions in the field with reference photographs, but it was her hostile behavior that was ill enough to keep me from returning despite my otherwise high regard for her taste based on the store's selection. Employees confirmed her similar indifference towards other repeat customers which has led to driving well-paying clients away.

Stopped by for flowers while visiting from out of town. They have a great selection and the staff was friendly and very helpful. I found exactly what I needed within my budget. I will be coming back next time I'm in town. Highly recommend!

I absolutely LOVE this store and it’s owners!! Any time I’ve needed help or guidance I’ve received it!! Mica is a joy to work with. Everything I’ve purchased has been top quality. Also, their florist is amazing!!! I would never go anywhere else!!

Don’t shop here!!!!!Absolutely the worst customer service ever owners have absolutely no integrity and under no exception will the owner work with you to take back a return even if the return was a valid return! Peregrin’s have absolutely no loyalty to their customer base and are downright mean. My experience was so grueling.....My husband and I went into store to talk to the owners a few different times over two months and the owner refused to speak with us and even lied about being there and would not come out and talk to us was so rude specially when I’ve been shopping in her store for six years. I will never shop here again! Don’t waste your time or money when there’s so many other small businesses you can shop and contribute too.

I absolutely adore Peregrin's home store! For starters, their furniture is elegant and perfectly fits my style. They're pretty much the only place that carries Neste candles in Baton Rouge. The owner is really sweet and helpful. I'd recommend everyone to shop here!

The absolute worst place to shop! Worst experience worst small business ever! Don't waste your money when there are so many wonderful other stores with integrity and care about their customers in Baton Rouge. Been a loyal customer and shopped at the store for seven years now they have absolutely no loyalty to their customers the owners are so rude and so inconsiderate. I had a return tried to take back a week later and found the item to have a large stain where it seemed to have had a sticky sticker on it. Only noticed after I brought home. Item was in my car rolled up for a week. I brought the item back to store and asked if I could return for store credit the owner was in the store and refused to talk to me her employee said "she will not talk to you" it was so rude never experienced anything like that!! My husband and I made several more attempts for weeks to talk with the owners even in person still not wanting to work with us on a store credit meanwhile her employee told me to leave the rug and wait for her to call us back the owner still had the rug in store for over two months now finally owner called me back and refuse to work with me. I have worked in retail for many years and owned several businesses and would never treat a customer in that way!

Absolutely worst store ever. Peregrin’s do not care or have any loyalty to their customers! I had the worst experience with a return. Would not even allow a store credit with an item they sold me that had a stain on it. The owners were so rude! Don’t waste your money at this store!

Don't shop here. I was unsure about purchasing some lamps for a new construction home. I was told I could make a return but when I wanted to simply make an exchange they refused. Buyer beware! If a sales person tells you something get it in writing.

I found some GORGEOUS pieces at Peregrin's Home Store at Perkins Rowe this week. They have unique succulents, tons of art, great pillows, and a wide array of the best accessories I've seen in BR. The selection and price points did not disappoint. Go to the Rowe and check them out.
