I went to try on a pair of pants in the fitting room and the lady had me place the pair of pants on the rack and told me to walk in front of the camera before going in to try pants on. I looked at her in disbelief and she looked at me and said
"Ma'am people steal" in the rudest tone.
At that point I felt like I was being accused of trying to steal.
She really needs to review her tone and customer service. Ross already has security at the door,baskets that cannot be taken out of the store,long lines with only 1 cashier and there has never been a cashier at ross that remotely smiles when waiting on a customer.
Ross has lost me as a customer

I am very upset with the way I was treated in this store! They act like everyone is a thief. The lady in the dressing room is so rude. Makes you hang your item(s) up after I held my 2 items up, she said firmly, HANG THEM UP! I responded with why, and she snapped back, so the camera can see so you so you don't steal ... It's so disgusting and disrespectful to assume ALL your customers are thief's. Then I get to the register, and Krissy, a disgruntled cashier with NO customer service says nothing, and so after a few items were scanned, I spoke and said, hi, how are you doing?? She looked at me like I was stupid, then turned her head and started chatting with someone who came through the door. I politely took all my clothes off the hangers, and she was scanning them and just jamming all my clothes in one beg. She stuffed the bad to the point it wasn't even able to grab by the handles from the fullness, so I reach and grab a bag to separate some stuff into another bag, and she doesn't tell me total, cause she looking around , showing how much she doesn't care. My total comes to 100.94 and I swipe my card. She goes to hand me my reciept, and says nothing again. I tell her, thank you, and I said it's very rude not to speak to your customers, and to have a nice day and she popped OFF with me stating she already spoke and then grabbed my daughters jewelry making kit we purchased and SLAMMED IT DOWN. I asked to speak to a manager, and the entire time of waiting, she's just popping off talking out the side of her neck. The assistant manger Issa comes, and doesn't say much as Krissy is popping off behind her, and she looks at me with this face of "I know" and she does apologize to me. I asked who I can speak to, and she directed me to a website on the receipt. Terrible experience, and I will NEVER shop at this location EVER again. And then, after all that, the lil young security guard who is less then 2 feet away from me the WHOLE entire time, still asks for my reciept and to open my bags. This whole store needs to be retrained or shut down. It's a shame!!!!

I wish they had more to choose from and more stores throughout the Baton Rouge and surrounding areas. Living in multiple states, where there are so many Ross stores throughout the areas and great selections and name brands has spoiled me. Coming here to Baton Rouge, where there's only one in the entire area and having to travel to separate cities to visit the other's far distances away is disappointing to say the least. None of the stores after traveling forever to each were stocked. Nor did they have many selections or brands to choose from other than toys.

Fitting room lady was very rude and not helpful at all, my 6 year old needed to try on PJs but they were tacked together and she looked at me and said well it's so you can't steal it. I said excuse me she said yes I can't fix that because you might steal it. Nothing was where it was supposed to be and over all it was just an uncomfortable visit
