I just want to express my disappointment in Sherwood TV Appliances. We purchased a microwave and it stopped working about a month afterwards. A service person came out to look at it and it appeared fine, however, it continues to work on and off. Supposedly, a new panel was ordered for it. Call backs are slow or nonexistent. Promises that the new control board has come in and will install, are empty. Basically, we bought a microwave to use for approximately a month!! This is very disappointing!

WARNING!!!! Do not use this company or allow the place you bought your appliance from to use this place for any repairs. It has been 4 months since my initial correspondence with Ronnie and Elvis. In those 4 months, they have been to my house 2 times to change 2 different parts and still have the same problem. They ordered a 3rd part to replace and have yet to make it back to my house to replace another part. The only time I hear from anyone at this company is when I make the phone call. It's always the same story, Ronnie is out, Elvis is sick. When Ronnie gets back he will call you to schedule the repair. It's been 2 months since the 3rd part "arrived" and they have not called to schedule appointment. Ryan who is "holding down the fort" is the rudest person I have ever dealt with in a customer service aspect. Please do not go through the stress of dealing with these people.

Never in a million years would I recommend anyone use Sherwood appliances! I bought a Samsung washer from Lowes. Lowe’s uses Sherwood for warranty claims in the Baton Rouge area. The washer was looked at 3 times and brought to there shop to be fixed…. It’s still not fixed. They closed the claim. The owner refuses to tell Lowes to replace it (even though it’s absolutely no money lost to them) so I’m out to buy a new washer. I never do these google reviews, but this is one business I wish I never came in contact with. I’d rather spend $1100 on a new washer then let them touch this one again and that says something! Be very wary of warranties offered by Lowes also in the Baton Rouge Area. I’ve never felt so violated by a business in my life. It’s nothing against the employees there, they were all actually nice and very pleasant to deal with. Sean was excellent. The machine is just not fixable and the owner will not admit it. But that’s okay. I’d rather spend my hard earned money than deal with Ronnie or Sherwood ever again. It’s honestly not worth the trouble. But google exist so hopefully I can save one of you this same trouble and headache.

We had a Samsung TV 75-inch that was not working. The servicemen came and got the t. V. and took it to the shop to be fixed. Bryan and his staff made sure that the TV had the right parts for the TV and that the TV was working properly. After the TV was fixed. The servicemen brought it back today. And made sure everything was working as it should. The servicemen were awesome and friendly. Bryan and his staff were awesome. I purchased a very expensive refrigerator from Sherwood Television and Appliances back in October for my 84 year old mother. I wanted to buy from a family oriented and local establishment, Mr.Ronnie was my salesman and appeared to be a good person. Once the product was delivered modifications had to be made in order for the refrigerator to pass through the entry door and setup. After installing the Sherwood Appliance Delivery Team left my mother’s home with damage and unfinished work. Damages were done to the outside door panels of the refrigerator, and the water cutoff valve to allow water flow to the water dispenser was broken upon installation and left for my mother to find, in turn to which she contacted Sherwood Appliance’s to report the incident and spoke with Mr.Ronnie’s brother and she said he was very Rude with her. I in returncall and spoke with Mr. Ronnie in which he said he would send a affiliate Contractor to make the repairs and the repairs are still incomplete till this day. This Company shows no CONCERNS OR COMPANION for the Black Community or their customers.

I found Mr Ruffino and crew to be most helpful and it was a breath of fresh air getting a nice dryer and a new tv from pros in the business. This is not your mass production Conns or worse. Really nice people with good sales and service

If you ever have problems with your appliances, I highly recommend you request Mr. Elvis as the technician to come out. He fixed our dishwasher and washing machine. We are more than pleased with the service we received and we were given tips on how to properly care for our appliances so they last longer going forward. He truly goes above and beyond to make sure the repair is done right the first time.

The service was deplorable at best. Appointment scheduling was horrible appointments were made and not communicated to me I only found out there was an appointment after inquiring on the part that was on back order. On the date of the repair after waiting all day and not hearing from the technician a call was made to the service department only to have the service manager get rude and cancel the appointment the day of the repair. I’d strongly recommend all dealing with warranty or repair issues to use another service provider as this one is definitely low quality.

I have a Samsung 55 inch Q70 T.V. It all of a sudden went out with out with out any warning.I called Samsung tech support and they walked me through a few steps to try to get it to power on, long story short no luck. I took it to Sherwood TV for a free estimate.I dropped it off on a Thursday and was told it would be looked at maybe that Friday or by Saturday, I called that Saturday and they still have not looked at. I called a few other time and still was not looked at, it was about Tuesday or Wednesday afternoon I was told the power supply went out. I was told about 200 to fix, ok fix it , I was told the part would be in within a few days.I called later that week and sounded like a young guy answered the phone and seemed to have an attitude not customer or phone friendly, it’s like I just ruined his day when I told him to ask the repair guy what went out on it , I said I am checking on my tv they ordered a part that was coming from Nevada I think I was told, the young guy wanted to argue with me no we don’t get parts from there, well where did I come up with that, anyway a total of about 3 weeks or so went by and they called on July 1 telling me it was ready, so far it seem to be doing fine, just don’t be in a hurry and the younger guy maybe the grandkid or whatever needs to change his attitude and needs to keep in mind that customer can go to other places that Sherwood TV is not the only repair place in Baton Rouge,

Guy straight up had an attitude saying they been doing this a long time when I told him I was in the living room and I’ll be waiting the guy then called about an hour after and said that his service man was there for 15 min and did knock on the door total lie, way too defensive and total a hole

I would not use them ever again waste time and money. My mother called him to fix her dryer took about a week to get there to look at it took, another week to fix it. The charge her almost $300 gave her the money to pay for it. The next day later when she used it stop working. Tell her to call them back and tell him to come back to fix it I'm not going to waste no money. She called him back one of the guys who work up there said the dude who fixed your dryer is out of town and he won't be back till Thursday. My mother said well you might as well give me my money back if y'all not going to fix it. He Said no they will send somebody up there to fix it .They never did call back stop picking up the phone. I lost $300 now I got to go buy a new dryer now . I will never use them again, they are not professional.

These people are horrible and yet the warranty companies continue to use them. They do not fix anything and will lie to your insurance company and you’ve stuck with a faulty product or none at all!

DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE, CANCEL ANY WARRANTY CLAIMS THAT ARE PASSED THROUGH TO THEM. 3 months of no communication, passing the buck, and lies. I received a different story every time I called for a follow up. After catching the owner Ronnie Ruffino in a lie about a backordered part that I found in stock on the manufacture website and calmly tell him he cuts me off SCREAMING AND YELLING about how he wouldn’t go back and forth with me over a dryer and that he was cancelling the claim. Mind you 2 weeks before this he told me he had everything, and that a tech would be calling to schedule install(never called). Haven’t been disrespected like that in years, took a lot not to go there and finish the confrontation in person. Do not waste your time here. Do not believe the fake 5 star reviews from employees, family, and friends.
