I have been calling all day because of the update and no one was willing to help or even answered the phone but finally got on the line and talked to Kelsey and she was so helpful and really made the process so easy

Great community bank for senior citizens. However they are very limited in technology. The straw the broke the camels back is the bank's implementation of SecureLock, this app like those offered by capital one and neighbors credit union, gives the consumer the ability the ability to block card transactions. However the app with STPFCU fails. causing multiple bank fees that the CU refuse to reverse. After having an account for over 3 years paying the bank 30 to 60 dollars in NFC fees wasn't worth keeping. overall if you want to be stuck in the 80's with a bank that doesn't allow deposits on weekends, or via ATM, and you have money to waste on fees stick with STPFCU. I switched to Neighbors. so far so good.

At the beginning of the pandemic I reached out via telephone to a loan officer inquiring about what at that time I didn’t know was the SBA’s PPP. I’d just heard that there was a grant/loan the independent contractors could apply for. After reaching out numerous times to this loan officer, I decided to email her and sent in personal documentation which I thought would be pertinent in applying for the program. I simply wanted to be considered and take advantage of any assistance that was out there. Fast forwarding to now (end of June), I decided to visit the website and request that someone in charge give me a call regarding this loan officer’s negligence and failure to assist a legitimate businesswoman (me). I felt disrespected and dismissed and even though I sought assistance from Hope Credit Union and was approved for the PPP in a week, I felt it was my duty to express my dissatisfaction with my experience hoping that the next person seeking assistance wouldn’t be treated in such a manner. I ended up receiving a call from the CEO which went well. Soon thereafter, I received a call from the same loan officer that didn’t see value in me as a business owner back in April and sadly that conversation didn’t go well because her tone was condescending, over-the-top and any sort of accountability went out of the window. I hope from now on they realize the value of the people in our community. Currently we’re in a horrible state of affairs and if we can’t depend on one another we’re doomed!

Mrs. Val is a staple at STFCU. She is the only person that I trust with my business.

My bank card was compromised last month, and LAST MONTH I ordered a new card. The time of delivery is supposed to be two weeks. Its been almost a month and I have zero access to my account as a result. and online banking is impossible. If it wasn't so close to my university I wouldn't be banking here. a true hassle and I'm beyond frustrated with this bank's services.
