I came her for my 22nd birthday. I had a blast. My only complaint is the music. I thought the dj was in my case is little too old. It was my birthday so I did want to hear a specific song and he was extremely rude to my friends when they asked and said that he doesn’t “play that music” so I was kind of disappointed in the music wish they had a better mix. But other than that everyone was sweet. And I had a great time.

Used to come here all the time for years. Then they got a new bartender. I was outside about to leave cause it just closed. The bartender was super drunk, got confused with all the commotion and for some reason assumed I said something negative about him (I didn't and many people witnessed). He started calling me a bunch of homophobic slurs, then he actually started to physically fight me. Security had to pull us apart. I never hit him once though. People that work there that I'm friends with said to report him because that shouldn't be tolerated. I reported the bartender. The manager told me it would be dealt with. I assumed he meant firing, but the next two times I showed up he still worked there. Definitely not a safe place like they advertise. The bartender's name is Judah Shepherd in case anybody wanted to avoid the homophobe. I definitely will not return, especially when there are places so much better than this

Splash used to be the place back in the day. So many different aged and colored people of our community. I moved back home to Chicago for 6 years.. I just visited Splash for the first time. I will say this… Splaah is no longer a gay bar. I’m pretty sure there was more straight people including way more straight men. It’s wonderful to see so many people outside our community enjoying our culture, at the same time, why?? They have their own bars. Also, the age group has changed. I’m 33 and I felt OLD. Splash is NOT the place anymore.

One of the best LGBTQ night clubs in Baton Rouge!! They always have fantastic music and a great place to dance! DJ Affiliated was playing and amazing! Brandon the bartender was friendly, fast, and a great time to hang near all the time. There’s a pool table, outside balcony, and upstairs balcony if you aren’t as social too!
