I had reached out to them for assistance before, and they could not help me, but referred me to a place that could. I came recently for an author event for finding peace within yourself and found this to be a perfect spot for that. Very warm and inviting. They also have a community refrigerator, so that is a nice thing to have.

The Red Shoes is an amazing women's center that offers abundant opportunities for spiritual enrichment and personal growth through book and film studies, weekend retreats, workshops, etc. There are also opportunities for creative development through the art forms of collage, drawing, painting, writing and music. There are several different yoga classes, depending on your needs, but they are all designed for women of all ages and fitness levels. Also, men are welcomed at some

The Red Shoes offers only what you are willing and able to receive. I attended an event there years ago but was not able to receive/appreciate what was being offered: A safe space for self-exploration. Now that I am finally comfortable engaging in my individual journey of self-discovery, I can receive and appreciate the work that is being done there. If these words speak to you, you have safe harbor at The Red Shoes.

When walking into The Red Shoes you are first greeted by the serene atmosphere, then welcomed by the friendly faces of Wendy and the staff. People always seem to be excited to see you when you arrive, and you often depart feeling joyous, renewed, healed, and always more at peace. The Red Shoes provides a safe and non-judgmental space for people to gather, learn, share experiences, and heal. Anyone who is looking for a compassionate and spiritual community to support and nourish them in their growth, you will surely find it at The Red Shoes. The calendar of events is always changing. You can find anything from Yoga and meditation to film studies, Reiki classes, and even more throughout the year. Each month I'm eager to see what's on the calendar. There's always something new to learn at the Red Shoes! I have made life-long friends and met some amazing teachers who share great wisdom at this center. Thank you, Red Shoes for being the healing space that you are.
