It has unique items that are reasonably priced and in this season of COVID-19 they maintain and very safe environment by sanitizing carts, limiting shoppers in the store, and permitting seniors to come to the front of the line.

They are open on Sundays right now which may seem normal, but the Metairie location closes on Sundays for routine cleaning, so this was awesome news! The line moves fast to get in (these are COVID times) and they spray your hands before you go in. It was a comfortable and clean experience and the staff was masked and friendly. Sanitizer was readily available at the registers and they had most everything in stock.

I have been so pleased with TJ in Baton Rouge during Covid19 phase 2. However I don’t plan to return after my last shopping. Patrons are not wearing mask and not distancing while not wearing a mask. TJ should put a sign up requiring mask for all entering the store. I did not feel safe. Rating would have been 1 star except there are other good good measures the store provides. ??

Did outstanding job Following guidelines for safety precautions due to covid-19. As a senior citizen I felt very comfortable shopping. Staff very courteous and so efficient in getting customers through lines quickly to checkout.

Beautiful store. Very nice folks working there. They kept us all safe during the pandemic, they cleaned each buggy and basket right in front of us and kept the store at 25% capacity. Even handed out bottles of water while we waited.

As always, just the shopping experience itself is a pleasure. Love their fresh flowers. Love e the aditude of the workers. They really do look like they enjoy working here. Was raining when I came out and a smiling employee walked me to my car with an umbrella. Services you don't find anywhere 3.

All organic and fancy, which isn't really my thing. But... The customer service was OUTSTANDING. Evan was BY FAR the best greeter we've ever come across. Every one was amazing.

Very disappointed that my husband who is trying to regain his independence after having a head injury was told he had to wait outside of the Trader Joe's on Perkins Road. I called the store and complained to the store personnel who stated, "All he had to do is tell us he had a head injury and we would have given him special accommodations and allowed him into the store." I replied, "my husband would not say anything, he would have just waited. However, I told my husband to go to Wholefoods, it's only a few minutes away and they don't make you wait! We won't be returning to your store!" The store personnel replied, "OK!" I guess they don't need customer's any more.

Trader Joe’s does the best job by far of keeping their customers and employees safe! There are canopies outside to get out of the sun. Workers bring water to those waiting in line and also check, frequently, on seniors. If a senior is in line outside, they are moved to the front. The employees have petitions for their safety at check out. Love the care you all take! My only complaint “Why isn’t there a TJ’s in Zachary?” ?

LOVE Trader Joe's! This is one of the best grocery stores, with so many unique items for a very reasonable price. I would HIGHLY recommend the plantain chips, cheese straws, açaí bowl packets, the everything bagel seasoning (and the dip), and their tomato basil hummus! Pictured below are the vanilla overnight oats with some fruit. So beyond good and an easy breakfast for on-the-go!

I regret not shopping here sooner. Last time I visited was in late 2018 before a birthday party. Just came in for 3 specific things, not to shop. Skip forward to last week I visited again with a friend. I was so excited to look around and try new things. My basket was full and I was fully expecting to break my budget but when I went to checkout, my total was only $30!! And the cashier bought me a reusable bag for next time! They had someone at the door with hand sanitizer and he was also cleaning all of the buggies and baskets. They also had sanitizer at all registers. I felt totally comfortable here, despite there being a pandemic happening. The trader Joe's brand chocolate covered pretzels I got are delightful and my favorite chocolate covered pretzels I have ever gotten. I look forward to coming back and trying more stuff. Only giving 4 stars because the bacon I bought was very fatty. Like barely any meat compared to the fat. But it was also only like $3 for the pack so I cant really complain too much.

COVID19-Present. Trader Joe's is by far one of my favorite grocery stores to shop at and they have really stepped up their efforts in an attempt to cease the spread of the Coronavirus. The employees have been upbeat, enthusiastic, consciously cautious, and friendly with exemplary character! The business has established a new maximum capacity to allow the customers and employees an optimal amount (6 feet or more) of social distancing during a social altering time. There has been an employee outside the front doors to assist customers with sanitizing their hands and shopping cart handles prior to entering. I believe with the resources that TJ has they are doing their best to servicing the public and limiting the danger to their employees during this pandemic that has hit Louisiana extremely hard. Thank you again TJ's for all your hard work and excellence!

I shop here once a week at least. Love the quality, keep friendly they are, and how much they offer. It's my go to and I save so much going here. I can not say enough good things about this store. I often get plants, flowers, and many other things they offer as gifts also. Just all around great store!!!

This review is on the customer service only, so, it's going to be shorter than usual. I think the store gets help from Hallmark because everybody is so sappy nice. It feels good to go into a store, spend your money and it seems EVERY employee REALLY appreciates your business that's how I have felt every time I've been in here without fail. Thank you, Trader Joe's for making an old man feel welcome in your store.

Great place for west coast, international and eclectic food. Staff are friendly and prices are reasonable. Check out is fast even if it's crowded

Love this place beautiful fresh flowers! Lots of different food items and pretty reasonable as well.

Trader Joe's is always fun. If you can't find an item you bought there before you will find something else equally good. This time there were lots of flowers since Valentine's Day is near. I got a beautiful golden rose bush and a hybrid azalea for way under $20. - a much better deal than cut flowers. There was some special french style bread that will be great for a poboy. The only problem is that their newsletter, The Frequent Flyer is hard to read while you're pushing a cart around the store.

Been in only a couple of times but recently went looking for a specific item my doctor recommended.Dark chocolate covered almonds over 70% cocoa were very reasonably priced st only 4.99. Great price, and my doctor says only a couple to curtail your craving and get dome protein as well.

Lady and I frequent here on a weekly basis. You need to know this place can get PACKED on a Saturday, especially early afternoon. Always a great experience. Fresh produce, awesome treats, and warm workers.

I first came to baton rouge about 9 years ago starting school at LSU, 3 years later trader Joe's opens up but I never gave it a try. I always figured it's too expensive and boujee to say the least! Fast forward few years I went in on a whim grabbing some produce and frozen foods to give the store a shot and my goodness what an experience! They are the king of customer service in my eyes, I've never seen so many employees smile in my life, they were extremely helpful and quick at the checkout line. I always dreadded all the stores I've been to since it seems like employees at grocery stores are allergic to opening up more then one register but wow Trader Joe's is the opposite! I went during a busier hour middle of the week and found them ringing the bells( the way they communicate) to open up more register immediately, that blew my mind! The produce was the cheapest I've seen including Walmart and the frozen foods were suprisingly better then I though they would be ! I hear they have the best flowers in town but I don't really ever buy them but I will say they catch my eyes Everytime I go in! My only negative is the parking is quite busy and small but they have alot of extra parking on the sides near the Tesla charging ports. If you don't mind the extra walk you can always find a spot ! This review has been long overdue and I wanted to express how much Trader Joe's breaks the stereotypes for grocery stores!

I love Trader Joe's! So many organic items at a great price. They sell their own brand of products and with no middle man, it's great for the pocket book.

Um.... hey TJ! You really need a less than 5-10 items line. ive typed this while holding a jug of milk while the cashier searches for an apple code. Im thinking my milk may spoil before i get to the line.

I'm a frequent shopper here. Sometimes they get busy, but the cashiers are always friendly and the staff were very helpful when I needed to place a bulk order on some honey. The newsletter is hilarious and I like supporting Trader Joe's out of principle, but they sure make it easy with seasonal specials and a cheese selection that got me tons of compliments on charcuterie boards this holiday season. I especially like being able to try singles of beer so I can mix-and-match my 6 packs.

Trader Joe's body products are wonderful. The Head to Toe balm has saved my hands during the winter.

Love Trader Joe's and I really wish there was one on the other side of Baton Rouge! Favorite things to buy here: chicken dumplings, birthday/wedding/anniversary cards, ginger beer, blueberry waffles, and vegetable biryani. Their cards are really great and only 99 cents! I'll never purchase an expensive card ever again. Their ginger beer options are really the best ones you can find in Baton Rouge. Only Costco has a ginger beer that is close to TJ's in taste. Overall, their frozen food selection is one of the best you'll find at a grocery store. My wife eats either chicken dumplings or blueberry waffles almost every morning. We have tried lots of the Trader Joe's frozen food options but our favorite dinner option is the vegetable biryani. The staff is super friendly and helpful and the lines are usually not too long. They have LOTS of nice seasonal products too!
