We were supposed to pick up our UHaul from a completely different location in Zachary to save ourselves time. They called and said there were no available 20’ trucks and to come to this location. We get here right at 9am and things seem to be going fine until the car tow dolly didn’t appear on our contract! Somehow parts of the reservations were cancelled and the man working here didn’t know anything about working their app system and had to get on the phone to have someone walk him through everything. Even then he STILL ended up removing our ENTIRE UHaul truck from the contact! I don’t even know what our card was charged and recharged for and how many contracts my husband had to sign. We’ve been sitting here in 100 degree weather for an hour now basically redoing everything we already did online. What’s the point of “doing it yourself” when you have to go through all of this??? Wouldn’t recommend coming to this location AT ALL if you can help it!

Dropped a trailer off this morning, an hour prior to opening. Was greeted and told to follow around so I didn’t have to back up and placed the trailer in a spot. I never touched the trailer as he unhooked and took the trailer off the truck. Extremely helpful and the absolute best customer service!

First, I made my reservation through UHaul. After I made my reservation, the website let me know that some of my equipment wasn't available. I decided to call the store to see what alternatives they had (if any). When I called, I said "Hello! how are you doing today?" And was instantly hung up on. I called again, thinking maybe the call dropped by accident (surprise - it didn't). The second call, a man answered. I explained my situation, and he snapped at me and began to explain that "trucks come and go" as if I didn't understand how UHaul works at all, and he did not even let me finish before cutting me off and telling me that I should have just waited until tomorrow (the day before picking up our truck and mind you we live out of state - hence why I called, which he would have known had he let me talk). Overall, very rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. After this call I immediately changed my reservation, I did not need someone to be talking down to me on an already stressful day and chance the equipment I needed not being there because a worker or owner could not even take the barely two minutes it would have taken to explain what info I needed and why I called. I can't say everyone will have this experience but I'm definitely disappointed with the experience I had with this location. I hope maybe it was just a bad day and others have a better experience!!

These people were amazing to work with. I cannot speak highly enough about them. My U-Haul was due back Wednesday and I fell and broke my right arm Tuesday night. I called the 1-800-GO-UHAUL phone number and they called me back. I explained my problem to the aforementioned phone number (plus I had taken out every insurance known to man) and they were great. They picked up the U-Haul and didn't charge me for being late, for gas, etc. They were just too kind and understanding for words. Great people like this make doing business with big companies like U-Haul worthwhile.
