The people here genuinely care about creating a supportive and welcoming fitness environment. They offer a wide range of training and conditioning classes to choose from. This is the first gym where I have enjoyed and looked forward to working out. Since starting at this gym in May, I have lost over 30 pounds and significantly improved my confidence, thanks to the supportive staff, fellow gym members, and the training classes. This is the first gym in my life where I have felt compelled to return every week. Due to external factors, not relating to the gym itself, I called the gym to pause my membership, and their concern and willingness to work with me so that I could continue going to their gym (and continue pursuing my fitness goals) was outstanding. This is a gym that fosters a staff that genuinely cares about their members and does a fantastic job of ensuring you meet your fitness goals while having a good time doing it. I recommend UFC Sherwood to everyone.

Hello, I'd like to enroll my daughter at this gym, but I was wondering if there are any Spanish-speaking staff members. Because my daughter doesn't speak perfect English—she speaks about 80% of English—she's shy. I'd like to know if it's a trustworthy and friendly place where my daughter won't feel uncomfortable. She's more interested in boxing and she's 14. If there's no one who speaks Spanish, thats okay she's capable of communicating Would an adult have to go to each class? Or could I drop her off at her classes and pick her up when they're done? Thank you, and I hope to get an answer.

Everyone this is an amazing gym. My 10 year old son was dealing with bullying at school. I brought him here with hopes that he'd learn to defend himself. He just started taking classes here and I've already noticed that he is more confident, comfortable and willing to learn. We Monday- Friday and I am so thankful. The staff is incredible. They are welcoming, patient, and helpful. They train people of all ages and skill level. They are very encouraging and not pushy. They offer several classes daily and a have 1990s Gold Gym kinda vibe with tons of weights and machines... if you are looking to learn MMA, self defense, a gym home or someone to help you lose weight... ufc gym on Sherwood is the place to be!

My only genuine complaint with this gym is the lack of variety in the music that is played. Otherwise, this is a great gym with ALOT to offer. In terms of martial arts classes, they have Jiujitsu, Wrestling, Kickboxing and MMA. They also have boxing conditioning classes which are TOUGH. There is a weight room with plenty of machines and free weights. There's a whole entire back room with racks and dumbbells and kettle bells and plenty of open space to exercise however you'd like. There's also multiple water fountains and showers, which you never realize the value of until you train somewhere without them. It really is a one stop shop for martial arts and fitness. It's also one of-if not the most affordable martial arts schools in Baton Rouge.

I’ve been coming here for a little over 2 months now and I can honestly say this has been the most fun I have ever had at the gym. The classes are challenging but not intimidating. You can go at your own pace as you push yourself to be better every class. I feel like the coaches here are really approachable and genuine and I feel like they notice you putting in the work. Even the coaches that I don’t interact with as much. Would give more stars if possible.

Best gym in Baton rouge. Whether you’re looking for a circuit class, boxing class, BJJ, or striking technique class, there’s something for everyone at this gym. They maintain a very clean environment with a friendly staff. All the coaches are great and never make you feel out of place, regardless of what level of experience you have.

Horrible experience I went to sign my son up for boxing camp and the guy was assisting me then he got a call from a member and left me standing there repeating himself over the phone. Then when we went to the first class they changed the date, yet I did not receive an email or phone call. So 45 minute drive for nothing waiting on my refund. Horrible experience.
