Incompetent USPS, was supposed to receive a package yesterday September 8,2025,wasnt delivered claiming insufficient address,my address is correct, it's package and mail theft delivering the mail, and at those facilities, so inspector general if your reading this investigate the process facilities on Baton Rouge and the employee delivering the mail and packages, there are theives among us, and they need to be in prison

Passport Renewal – What You Really Need to Know
My husband and I are preparing to hit the road again, and this time, we needed to renew our passports. Over the past few weeks, we heard all kinds of things. Some said you could walk into a Baton Rouge location and walk out with your passport the same day. Even ChatGPT pointed us toward a walk-in service. Let me tell you now, that’s not the case.
After making several calls with no clear answers, I decided to get in the car and visit a location in person. Here’s what we learned:
✅ You can get everything done in one place: pick up the application, take your photo, and have the full packet mailed to the passport processing office.
🚫 But no matter where you go, your renewal still has to be mailed in. You will not walk out with your passport that day.
We had the pleasure of being helped by Ms. Jackie, who was kind, professional, and incredibly helpful. I had all our documents ready, but she let us know we needed new passport photos. No smiling is allowed in passport photos, by the way! She made the process smooth and sent us off with a tracking number so we could follow our application’s progress.
We left feeling like happy campers. Thanks to Ms. Jackie, what could’ve been a stressful process turned into a surprisingly pleasant one. Excellent customer service makes all the difference, and she definitely delivered.

If you care about your money and time, don’t bother going to this place. Their cameras don’t work but it’s not mentioned anywhere online. The ppl behind the desk are only there to put in the hours. Zero care, zero customer service.
Very disappointed.

Baton rouge postal service is a joke. Package arrived at BR then they shipped to Shreveport for 18 hours then back to BR then to my local postal office for 6 hours now it's on its way back to BR. My package should have been here days ago but they can't do they're jobs right. I guess we'll see if they ship it back to my local post office or ship it to Jackson mississippi first?

To be honest I don’t know we have usps as an option anymore. They are COMPLETELY useless. I think my dog could do a better job than they can. They are a waste of time and money. They need a total reset. Get rid of them all. Every single one of them. Start over I mean it’s bad. If I could go into the negative for the star rating it would be -5 stars like seriously it’s over and over usps is garbage.

I am a 21 year old LSU student who just left this place in tears because of the situation I was just put in here. I made an appointment for my passport, showed up on time, had ALL of my documents and STILL was told I needed more. This was my SECOND passport - I knew exactly what was needed. The lady told me her name was Sheila when I asked but I doubt that was her name given her tone. She was so incredibly rude and unaccommodating and literally denied me because I told her that this wasn’t asked of me last time I came. She told me “some things just don’t make sense in your head.” Don’t know what kind of customer service she was taught but whoever hired her is an idiot. I shouldn’t be in tears after leaving the post office. This place sucks. Still don’t have my passport.

an absolute joke, i never leave reviews on anything EVER, but i felt extremely obligated to take it further when it comes to this facility, on a consistent basis for the last few months every single one of my packages that enter this processing center sits for a minimum of 5 days, i live an hour away from baton rouge, and i will be visiting the center in person with a usps general manager im in relations with in the near future.

Dude y’all need to get y’all’s stuff together. My package has been sitting there for like 4 days now? I can’t get in contact with anyone. It’s ridiculous. Either improve your service or at least let me talk to a customer service rep. This is an absolute joke. I never write reviews by the way.

Where packages go to die!! I live about 30 minutes South of Baton Rouge and usually when my packages would arrive there they'd be delivered that day, the very next at the latest but that was the good old days it seems. As of right now I have a package that has been there for 4 days. I've already had 2/3 other packages delivered from this location so that's the head scratcher for me. This place needs an overhaul, and stop blaming COVID for everything... that was 6 years ago! Y'all have one job...to deliver packages and mail. Please do your job and stop being the true definition of snail mail!
