This pharmacy definitely need to PERMANENTLY close! The understanding the techs have is Sad! You have to wait on hold for 30 minutes to 45 minutes only to hang up when you finally next in line! Ask them why my medication says on hold when I have 2 refills? No explanation! Instead of refilling 1 of the refills and it would leave 1,they send a request to my doctor for more refills! It’s sad when you can’t get medication!

Pharmacy is an absolute mess no matter what time you go. They never have enough people working. Plan on waiting 30min-1hour to pick up or drop off a prescription

For years I used Rite Aid at the corner of Perkins and Siegen. When that store closed, I transferred my prescriptions to your store across the street. I moved across town and your store at the corner of Airline and Old Hammond Highway is more convenient. I order my prescriptions through Express Scripts (because they're less expensive). Someone dropped the ball and my prescription wasn't refilled timely. I called my physician and explained that my meds were going to be delayed for approximately 7 to 10 days and asked that he call in a prescription for me to Walgreens to cover those 710 to 10 days. He did. Walgreens sent me a text saying that it wasn't approved because it was too soon. So I called them and explained the situation and was told that my meds would be ready at noon. I went to the store at 3 o'clock today, after getting a text from them saying that my prescription was ready, and lo and behold, it was not ready for the same reason. NOT acceptable.

Nice people, but my prescription is rarely ready by the time the pharmacist says. At least be realistic, so we don't waste time driving to the store before it's ready.

Overall, usually a good experience. Exercise caution in the parking lot. Due to the proximity of the interstate and two major highways, there are sometimes some aggressive panhandlers in the lot. Keep you eyes up.I have used the pharmacy a couple of times, and the last time was after an emergency surgery that left me in some intense pain. it was very busy in the waiting area, but the pharmacist must have sensed the pain I was in because the script was finished very quickly, and she made sure to check on me when I was sitting there waiting. Her compassion helped me. Honestly, just being acknowledged was helpful.I use the store often, and it is mostly clean and well stocked. Several employees are usually around, and they offer to assist you. They open registers at the photo booth and cosmetics if the lines are getting long. I have always appreciated those at the registers helping you. Most have a pleasant disposition and engage you in friendly conversation. Additionally, I've seen some staff assisting some elderly customers out to their cars. Several little things are done to make big differences in their customers' experiences.

Dropped a script off to transfer from another pharmacy and never heard anything about it being ready so I called to check on it the next day,They hadn't even called it in.I see why the ratings are so low.

DO NOT visit this location to get your medications filled! I got a prescription filled and 8 pills were stolen by someone on their staff. They claimed that their inventory was correct so they couldn’t do anything about it, but if the pills were taken by a staff member then of course their inventory would be correct. I’ve been taking this medicine for eight years and I have never been short even one pill from other pharmacy’s. This was my first time filling it at Walgreens and

Walgreen's has lost my business permanently. If you see you have a car at the window, and you are standing there on the phone, why can't you say, "I'm sorry for the delay, I will be with you shortly." Instead, you continue to talk on the phone, hand motions and everything, and then turn your back on the customer! After 11 minutes of this, I left. I will call and have my prescriptions...the nine that I haven't already moved...transferred to CVS. Your pharmacy service needs attention, or you will lose more customers.

Do not go to this Wallgreens. I called to refill a prescription and the live person said it would be ready for pick up at one o'clock yesterday. Today I tried to pick it up at 1:30pm and they said they didn't have it. I was like wow and the laddies at pharmacy were so ugly. Run. Don't waste ur time.

This store seems clean and well stocked. For all intents and purposes it is similar to most other Walgreens locations. Personally I have used the pharmacy at this location twice. Both times I felt as though the people working there had no idea what they were doing. It was a circus behind the counter. As a consumer, it doesn't give me much confidence in a pharmacy when they don't even know how to use their computers. On the plus side, they do call you on the phone with updates about your prescriptions.
