This is the only neighborhood Walmart I've ever been to that doesn't have a drive-thru pharmacy. Their curbside pickup is completely useless because even if you prepay online (and have proof), they say you didn't and make you come inside.

Terrible place to have to shop. The service is always slow, they are loud and yell at each other throughout the parking lot and store. It makes the experience of shopping distracting and chaotic.

Do not recommend. One trip there were no buggies available at the front so I had to walk back out to the parking lot. Always an item on my list out of stock. Third trip to this location is nail in coffin for me. First one here in my time slot for pickup and I've waited 40 minutes so far for my order to be brought out. Now going to have to plan an alternative dinner for tonight. Tried calling to check on my order and left ringing and no answer at the service desk.

I haven't enjoyed shopping in a Walmart for absolutely years. I'm from Fayetteville, Arkansas abs so I remember the old Walmart when Sam Walton was alive. I asked for assistance and the prime were so happy to help me. One of the cool things about Walmart here, is they have things that are Louisianan. I also did a pickup order and those employees were also nice.

Make sure to check the expiration dates!! Out of all the places to shop for groceries in the LSU area of Baton Rouge, this is probably the worst. It's not very clean ( I picked up a pack of ground chicken in the refrigerator and it was leaking and smelled like something had died, and this isn't my first experience like this at this store), but that's not why I'm complaining. You can't keep everything clean in a grocery store like Walmart. It's not a rouses where they charge you more for the better kept environment. But i can't stand how half of the stuff doesn't have a price attached to it, like the sticker is just gone from the shelf. The workers can be good, but some arent that great so I wouldn't give them points for that. Only about 25% are good employees. But by far the worst part is the amount of expired goods they sell. I would say it could actually be almost 40% of what they sell is past it's "best by" date. I have to spend twice as long there than I would anywhere else because i need to check every single item I buy to make sure it's still good. The self checkout area is also so small that you cannot navigate your cart around it without running into another person. I like the location but that's about the only reason I'd ever go there.

I love this Walmart!! I pass up the Super Walmart on College Dr. just to come here. The store is always clean and well stocked. The checkout process is quick whether you use self checkout or go to a cashier. Makes shopping very easy. Definitely prefer this Neighborhood Walmart over the Super Center.

This place is garbage. Waited an hour and a half for my grocery pickup, tried calling the store multiple times, and was only able to speak to one extremely rude associate who put me on hold for 15 minutes before I hung up. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

If I have to go to Walmart, this is the one I choose. Seems to have certain things my local grocery store doesn't like contact solution and other pharmaceutical items as well as the basics you'd find in any grocery store. They seem to keep it clean and the cashiers and other employees seem to be more versed in customer service skills more so than in the super Walmarts in Baton Rouge. They'll offer a few pleasantries when you're checking out instead of just staring out you with a dead poker face. Also, I've never once seen them have 50 people in line with only ONE register open. The checking out process always flows smoothly here. Neighborhood Walmart, keep doing you and I'll see you soon.

Every person that I’ve talked to in the pharmacy has been so helpful and kind!

I love this Walmart. It has lots of great vegan options for me to choose from (including go veggie cheese, various tofu meat substitutes, and yogurt). The only reason that I am not giving this location 5 stars is because of a bad experience with a rude employee when needing assistance at the self checkout. Other than that, I LOVE this location. It is always clean and organized and feels very safe.

Oh snap! I have kinda been crushin' on Neighborhood Walmart's lately. Here's why: easy parking, smaller store size, shorter lines, better customer service and easier to navigate! Now, aren't these all reasons to (secretly) crush on Walmart? Of course they don't have nearly everything the super-duper ones have, but that's the trade-off for all the positives. Right, right?!?! Produce here is decent and nicely organized. This one is the closest to me, but I have to make sure I don't head that way during peak times because I'll be stuck in some cray-cray traffic jams via Highland & Lee Drives. This plaza has some good restaurants in it, too. So, after of before your shopping, stop for a bite, too! Thank you Neighborhood Walmart for being somewhat awesome! I will be back... like a lot!

A great place to stop by and get the necessaries. Neighborhood Markets have a lot of what you need on a regular basis (groceries, pharmacy, etc.) and you don't have to trudge through a big Super Center. But just like the Super Centers, you can score great deals. This makes it an easy choice for quick in and out trips.

This is by far the cleanest and most organized Wal-Mart that I have ever seen. It is always easy to find what I need, and the employees often are nice about helping out if I am unsure of where something is. Some days are more crowded than others, but the lines move pretty quickly.

Every time I have gone to this Walmart an employee has gone out of their way to make me uncomfortable. I've been followed around, harassed at the checkout, and most recently yelled at. I walked into the women's restroom and was immediately yelled at by an employee cleaning it. He was not kind, he raised his voice to full volume to tell me I'm not allowed to use the bathroom while he's cleaning. I said I didn't know that, and he continued to yell that I need to use "the family restroom", which is one stall and was occupied at the time. He said "oh well". The selection at this store is not very good and the employees are rude consistently.
