This Walmart is the best of both worlds. They normally have things in stock, and a variety of selections that other Walmarts closer to my residence may not have. However, going after 9:30 pm is not recommended. it’ll be about three registers open (if that) and they also shut the self checkout down.
It’s a shady location a nearby homeless camp and it’s not uncommon to see some of them in the bathrooms grooming themselves or hassling you for money. The good thing is they do have law enforcement on site and they normally handle the issues promptly.
So long a you go before 9:30 pm you should be good.

Honestly I hate walmart so much. Such a bad experience every single time I go to one, doesn’t matter what location or state. Im going to start planning my shopping trips better so i never have to go through the pain and suffering of stepping inside a walmart or giving them any more of my hard earned money ever again. I hate walmart

I hate this Walmart , why is there 1 lane open after 6pm EVERYDAY ?? Why are the self check outs also closed on both sides ??? Ppl will have 60 items at the 15 if less checkout lane, mane y’all need to open a register !! Y’all know everybody get off work at 5 pm to go get groceries at around 6:30-7pm. This is ridiculous. And add Apple Pay too .

Hello to all the potential customers from Walmart Supercenter #839
9350 Cortana Pl, Baton Rouge, LA 70815 Ladies and Gentlemen, I am posting this here, to warn everyone be very careful I'm saying this from experience, I have worked 40 years in customer. As manager And such a rude and poor customer service I have never experienced in all of my career. The supervisor so I was told from the young lady personally, her name is Tracy or Terry. She told me she is the supervisor from the front part of Walmart the cash registers. The Walmart closes at 11:00 p.m. that means front doors are closed no more customers are let in, and all the customers inside must come to the cash register and check out that is the way I was taught and that is normally store rules. I proceed to the cash register but mine you self-serving cash register, three customers ahead of me. And it was 2 minutes after 11:00 I had four items in my wagon two bottles of sodas and two bags of chips. And the so-called supervisor said to me "After these three customers has checked out the store is closed. So I am standing there with two bottles of sodas two bags of chips and could not buy them, And that is not the only thing, you get to the store there is no shopping wagons at all in front of both front doors, for the customers. And if you really need a shopping wagon you would have to run through the parking lot to find your own shopping cart. Believe me it is really a joke in that Super Walmart. And I have decided to call corporate tomorrow morning.... So ladies and gentlemen if you really want to spend your money and have a very good customer service, please then avoid that Walmart because you going to be very disappointed.

Came in to buy t-shirts.Nobody wanted to assist me to get the case open.Meanwhile employees are standing doing nothing.Person in dept had to find someone with keys!Lazy Lazy Lazy!!!!!!Never to return!!!!!!

Walmart sold me a used carseat that was almost $200. I made it home and took the carseat out just to realize it was full of dirt marks all over the cotton and brown stains in both cup holders. Granted, still got my refund with no hassle.

This was by far one of the worse experiences ever. I understand they have policy and procedures but to be profiled and I'm not that one or 2 to play with is beyond me. I'm NEVER COMING BACK TO THIS LOCATION. THESE EMPLOYEES NEED TO GET THEMSELVES TOGETHER AND HOW THEY ADDRESS SOME CUSTOMERS. EVERYONE THAT WALKS TO THE SELF CHECKOUT WITH 20 ITEMS INSTEAD OF 15 ISNT STEALING ‼️‼️‼️
