I not only shop at this store but I have used the pharmacy since the day it opened. Mike has been a great pharmacists throughout these years. A few years ago I met Tanya a pharmacy tech, that goes beyond her duties. I am saddened to see this pharmacy close. Aldi corporate has bought Winn Dixie store. CVS has bought the pharmacy. Aldi does not have pharmacies in their stores. Small pharmacies in this area do not stay open late enough. A very sad day.

I prefer going here over the other local grocery stores.

I remember when there used to be a Winn Dixie store next to my neighborhood...it closed and became a Piggly wiggly. It then turned into a Shoppers Value, and now the store is closed for good. Which...thank God because there was no value in Shoppers Value. I drive 4 miles out the way to shop here because they always have great deals, the store is clean, and the people are kind! I haven't had a visit where I was disappointed in how the store is kept or how the employees treat the customers. I gave 4 out of 5 stars because there are times that they don't have certain items in stock, but outside of that, Winn Dixie is a nice store to leisurely walk a out and find quality groceries and deals.

This Winn Dixie does not disappoint. It's is always well-stocked, staff is friendly & helpful, store is laid out easily (the layout is not constantly changed), always clean, constant variety of greet floral arrangements, lines are NEVER ridiculously long, plenty of carts available, produce is always fresh, Ms. Erica (hot foods/deli) is always pleasant and feels like the aunt that everyone wishes they had! I will literally pass any grocer, just to shop at Winn Dixie in Central (only a mile and a half from my home)!

Best meat department employees are Polite and helpful the entire staff excluding the grocery cart guys are helpful and do a great job. These young guys do not help carry out your stuff and if you ask one then they all scurry off like mice. But the store is always clean and the cashiers and customer service people do a good job. The floral and meat felt are truly the best Winn Dixie in the Louisiana . The stock guys are also very helpful and know where everything is if you can't find something . The grocery carry out guys need some training and management needs to make them do their job... all other winn-Dixie locations have excellent carry out service in the cart guys do their job this one they never even heard a plug in the mobility scooters so when you go to use one they're not even charged maybe they should get trained by the other Winn-Dixie's I don't know but all the other departments are excellent at this location super clean store super friendly people excellent meat department

I TRY to support smaller chains vs the huge supercenters, but WD in central has failing management. They do not care about long checkout lines and we have options. (Mostly cheaper options) Please address this. 2 checkouts open at 3 pm is insufficient when you have many customers waiting with cold or frozen food.

I used to come here a lot but it just isn't the same anymore. The check drink guy doesn't talk like he used to. I don't feel comfortable buying drinks from here which sucks because Winn dixie was my drink spot. Every time I try to buy drinks now the check guy just follows me around and stares at me. Every time I give him a little head nod he just looks at me. Creepy! Just the other day I asked him if he had a certain type of check drink in the back and he simply responded "backstock". I'm not sure who or what he was referring to as backstock but it sure won't happen again. Beware of this store!

I attended a wedding in Finnstown House on the night of June 1st, and was a resident of the hotel. The next day, my mother-in-law asked would I get her a glass of water to take pills with. I waited a few minutes at the bar, and then two girls came out, one in a bar uniform, and one in a housekeeping uniform. I asked could I just have a pint of tap water and the bar girl said she'd go get someone to get it for me, which seemed odd as it was only tap water. Meanwhile, the girl in the housekeeping uniform (who was very unprofessionally chewing gum the whole time with her mouth open) nodded at me, went and got a glass, filled it with ice, went to the tap and filled the glass with water. She came over to me, put two straws in the glass. I held my hand out and said "Thanks", and she stared me right in the eyes, took a big drink out of the glass, and went "aaah", then walked off with the water, smiling to herself. I was tempted to ask for a manager and complain, but as it was a family wedding on my husband's side, I decided not to say anything, but it is the weirdest, most bizzare thing I have ever witnessed, and I personally would want to know immediately if any of my employees were taunting and mocking customers in such a way. I don't even know where to start to be honest because it was just really REALLY weird. Chewing gum and having housekeeping staff drinking behind the bar would already be unacceptable in most hotels, even without the weird rude way she then acted. I wasn't going to complain because it was my husband's family hosting the wedding, but we decided not to stay another night in the hotel because of this incident, and I know that if my staff acted in a way that actively drove customers out of the building, I would absolutely want to know, HOWEVER I contacted the staff at Finnstown weeks ago, and apart from asking for contact details, I have been ignored. It was a decidedly average hotel apart from the poor service. It's a nice enough building and grounds but the decor is poor and the food was not very good. I know it's hard to cater for a lot of people at a wedding, but the bar food and breakfast were only alright too. Overall I would have said it was "Okay" but this incident and their lack of caring about it are just awful examples of customer service

Due to insurance delays with a prior authorization @ our current pharmacy, my husband was going to use GoodRx app & brought the hard copy of my prescription to Winn-Dixie. He was first told by the pharmacy tech they couldn’t fill it because my pharmacy marked the prescription. Then the pharmacist told him he wouldn’t fill the prescription because he needed it for HIS customers. HIS CUSTOMERS??? What are we other than a customer? Needless to say a formal complain is in process & I will NEVER shop their again!!!! Rude...

This has been my favorite Winn Dixie in town. I past several Winn Dixies to shop at this one because of the great produce and availability of products. But, the pharmacy is HORRIBLE! And, the sad part, it is only one employee who makes the pharmacy problematic. However, the one star goes to this pharmacy employee with the worst customer service AND the managers of the store and the pharmacy. I shared my concerns with both managers who obviously thought I was just interested in a counseling session. Customers share their concerns with managers to get results. Neither manager offered a solution to my problem. Very disappointed!!!!!

The staff at Winn Dixie pharmacy are polite and professional. They are also familiar with their customer and always make you feel special. I enjoy going there for my medical needs!
