Book Rack is a gem of a place with great appeal over big box stores. The owner is very helpful, personable, and exhibits southern hospitality, willing to chat about authors or let customers quietly peruse. The selection is great with hundreds of options, including many romance novels, common mystery authors, and some political history and cookbooks, all for much cheaper than other bookstores. It has a unique ambiance not found elsewhere in town. The owner and wife are retiring, but it is a definite place to visit and check out.

Great bookstore. Owner very helpful and personable. He and wife are retiring the end of the year. I hope someone buys it and keeps it open.

Visited on Feb 10, 2023. Very helpful in trying to find books. More romance novels than I ever thought existed. Lots of common authors of mystery books. A few books on political history and cookbooks. No books on conspiracy theories, UFOs, or non-mainstream subjects.
