I went to pick up my medicine and was told that the pharmacy was closing for lunch. You should always have coverage that allows employees to go to lunch and still have an employee service customers. I am extremely aggravated that I was inconvenienced as a customer that traveled to pick up medicine they are in need of.

The hours could be better. That’s not the employee’s fault. It most definitely puts a hinderance on people’s lives who don’t work a typical 9-5 schedule. Closing at 6pm on a Friday. Not opening until 9:00am daily is a huge inconvenience. They staff of the only reason I go back. The pharmacy employees are professional and courteous.

The best pharmacy in the area with best staff. They go out of their way to call me if something doesn’t seem right. I had a medication that would have caused major problems if taken with my other medication and the pharmacist personally called me to make sure I stopped it and talked with my doctor about an alternative. She saved me from a highly possible seizure.

I really hoped to find someone to email privately regarding this issue, however, Walmart.com does not give that option. So ... here we go. A few months ago, I went to Louisiana to help my father while he was dealing with life post-surgery. During this time, I had to renew my prescription. Being that I could not be very far from my father and Walmart's vision center was close by, during Covid, I figured the most convenient is the safest route. So I went. Now I feel I must add that I'm also African American and being Black in the South, I've been used to being dismissed and ignored by people in the medical profession, hence my leaving and moving to the west coast. At any rate, I know that's a gross misinterpretation and generalization, as I've been used to being treated as such, I did not wish to oblige others the same indignity. All that said, I went to the Boutte branch to have my prescription renewed. After doing the tests, and having my eyes graded, I said to the doctor, that my last two answers I felt what I saw was still very blurry. She said, "It's your age, you'll get used to it." ... I paid. I got my prescription and left. Not long after I got my glasses in the mail that had the prescription the Boutte doctor prescribed - by the way, these were progressive lenses (acting as trifocals, long to short distance depending on where you look in the lens). First thing I noticed was that one eye was one eye was blurrier and could see further easier than the other. But that was only if I looked with one eye closed depending on... in short it was a cluster@$%#$. I returned to the west coast, got a west coast doctor with a west coast prescription (free of dismissal and arrogance) and ... well, see the difference in the numbers for your self in the photo. I'm getting a little tired of being dismissed so quickly with a spin on the ankle and a "sign here please." Especially when it costs time, money and once again, my health and my dignity.

Use the curbside service. All technicians are very polite and friendly though I'm sure they have to walk out to the parking lot several times a day. Walmart pharmacy had cheapest price around for MOST medications, especially if you don't have a prescription drug plan or use GOOD RX drug discount program.
