Had been many years since I’d been here until this recent trip. Restaurant, a marked improvement aesthetically. Good food & I’ll be happy to stop again when crawfish are in season! Surprised & joyed to see there’s now a bar inside.
Convenient store, as expected for an older travel plaza stop. Nice people on both sides! Claims to want only fueling customers to park free. The lot is BAD rutted/potholed & not worth a dime let alone $280-570 in diesel fuel. I understand the owners may want some profit out of otherwise useless property, but at same time, truckers should have level ground & painted spaces especially if we’re asked to pay to park. Respect goes both ways.

Most of the employees are friendly and helpful a lot better than Monroe store. I think them changing the store too look like a department store is cool brings back memories of monkey wards aka ( Montgomery wards ). Unfortunately the prices are getting to up there. Need to have more specials because a lot of us can't even afford meat these days.

I stopped here due to having a tire issue. One of the really nice workers there spotted me and asked if I needed help. I was in the middle of a panic attack and he stepped in to help me. Not only that, he gave me reassurance that I would make it. He didn't need to go out of his way to help but I'm so thankful he did!

Got there in the middle of the night and found a space. Woke up in the morning and headed in for breakfast at Huddle House. Definitely recommended! The loaded hash browns are delicious. The staff were so friendly too! Headed over to the store to grab some drinks for the road and the lady that was working was just as friendly. I can’t thank the restaurant and store staff enough for being so welcoming. Five star stop!
