βMy daughter and I visited the Hwy 16 location today. Isabella was fabulous in helping us find what we needed and offered her help throughout our visit. Fantastic customer service, which is why we continue to shop Bayou Belle Boutique. We are always so pleased with our shopping experience. ??οΈβ
βI was visiting from Alabama and had asked a few locals where to find the best selection LSU and Louisiana inspired gifts.
The store is AMAZING! I was able to get the entire family outfitted in LSU gear and even picked up a few cool shirts of their Homegrown collection. The owner personally helped me with sizes for everyone.
The attention to detail and customer service was one of the best shopping experiences I had ever had! Donβt bother with campus bookstore.β

βI arrived to the store on may 20th at about 5:30pm, seeing that they close at 6pm. Didn't know what I wanted or the size I needed!! I explained that I had a presentation to give Sunday at church. His response was no worries, let me see what I can do for you. He asked me did I know what size I was and I told him that I don't know. So he turned to look at me and said do you like a tight fit or with a little slick, then pulled a coat off the rack and said what about this size? I was impressed, then allowed me time to look around. Having a nice selection of suits and trying to decide what color I wanted, I finally decided after choosing from several selection!! He asked me to try the pants on for measurements and said give a couple days to have it ready!! A one stop shop, everything matching from head to toe and never mentioned anything about time, he even tied my tie for me!! On may 22nd I received a call telling me that my suit was ready to be picked up, when ever I was ready!! I know where I will be going to the next time I need or just want to buy a suit from!! Thank you again!! You told me your name, but all I remember is Mr. Super Cool and that's what he is!!!!β

βYes, the wife had to drag me in. Surprise! They have stuff for guys, too! Not a huge selection, but some nice stuff. Plenty of car air fresheners to choose from, all locally made with different shapes. Wife found some items, the prices were reasonable. I am certain we will be back.β

βThe Hope Shop has added so much to midcity, especially in its newer location on Government St, by Elsie's. They have gifts, clothing and home goods that are great quality. Here's my favorite part: everything they do is to help others who are more vulnerable. Go check them out, you will thank me later!β
βThis is definitely my new favorite boutique in the area, it's so cute! I love their style, and they have SO much variety. The vibe is very cool and modern, and yet they still manage to include ALL women. Whether you're a young teen or older professional, and everything in between, you can find something you love. The accessories would be great for young girls too! They had shoes, hats, belts, scarves, masks, slippers, handbags, blazers, Blouses, dresses, kimonos, cardigans, light to heavy sweaters, and more! I could spend all day and all my money in there. The dressing rooms are very spacious and the staff is so friendly and helpful. The clearance rack is awesome too! $5 pieces! Great for all holidays and occasions too (even cocktail dresses and business professional dresses.) If you're shopping for gifts, game day, holidays, or tailgating this is your go-to spot. I loved that they had a lot of leopard prints and butterfly items. Can't forget the bell bottom jeans either! Whenever you're in Central make sure to stop by, but it's worth a drive too :) It's near many other dining and shopping options (try cafe Phoenicia foe lunch or Java Mama for coffee when you're around.) Icing on the cake is that they are local and support many local artists, win win! They told me they have many sales so make sure you follow them on Facebook or social media. Check them out!β

In particular on my visit to the store 11/4/2020 there where 3 employees, Tristian, Anastasia, and Darlene that helped me with several questions I had concerning products and sales. All of them went over and beyond helping me. Love shopping at this location.β

βI was looking for school uniforms for boys. That section was a total wreck. I understand it's the customers that just aren't considerate and don't think they should put things back where they belong or put back neatly because "oh, the employees work here and that's their job'. Shame on them. I found 1 shirt and 1 shorts. I brought them home and my son is only 4 and can't do the snap on the shorts, so I ordered the latch hook type from Amazon. I'll be returning the 2 items I bought. The employees weren't very helpful, I will say that. It's unfortunate that I had a bad experience, except for the girls at check out. They were very nice and pleasant to speak with.β

You can get shirts,shorts or jeans for different price ranges. The gifts are nice they got like rugs and stuff for bedding. I went to this citi trends probably like 15 years ago and went back today 6-1-24 it has changed alot in good ways.β
