These people used to be friendly but that woman peola la somebody is a joke! Mel malone helped my mother for decades. Now that my mom is deceased I have to contact the office for various things. This women acts like I owe her something. First she barks I have to go into the office to close my Mom's homeowners policy. When I tell her I live in a different state, she says I have to sign some paperwork. Then she sends me an email with 10 gifs including her face with no attached paperwork. The email says to just reply I want to cancel. Then the act of sale got pushed back a week out of no fault of ours. The buyer did it. I call to cancel and miss attitude calls me back and says call her at the act of sale because she can't be bothered if it gets pushed back again. It took 3 days and a complaint to the main office to get them to respond in cancelling the car insurance. How long will it be after the act of sale that she is bothered to send another email to me that says, "you want to cancel the insurance?" She said she had all that paperwork she sent me. I asked her, "What paperwork? There was no attachment of paperwork. You just asked me to reply yes in an email!"If you are considering this office for your insurance, reconsider. Lasomebody woman will treat you like garbage.

I have been a customer of Mel Melone's for around 12 years. I have paid about $22,896.00 in premiums to this State Farm Agent. My Car is a 2006 Ford Focus that I paid $14,000.00 sixteen years ago. I asked them for help with my claim because the people in the Claims Department couldn't understand simple math or were just trying to cheat me on my claim. My car was flooded and I asked that the carpet be replaced. I have pictures of the mold growing on it, and State Farm decided that it should be cleaned. It cost 783.29 for the carpet cleaning I paid $500 and they paid $283.29. It was cleaned and the car still smelled Bad. The 1st repair facility was paid $745.86 for the replacement of the carpet. They said the airbag module should be replaced it was damaged in the flood. I was choosing a facility that could repair both. The 1st facility returned the 745.86 - 218.75 for the tow bill money not received from the first payment. The new Estimate was submitted for $2,239.63. I asked that State Farm pay me directly they said they had to pay the facility - I agreed. Then they sent me some of the money anyway. They sent me $587.50 then $130.00 total of $717.50 toward the $2,239.63. They are still short $1,522.13 so I called the Mathematician in the Claims Department to find out if they are going to pay the facility and why they paid me. I was on the phone for 2 hours that day trying to do the math with this person then she offered me to pay for the parts but not the labor. Then offered me 745.86 the same amount paid for the carpet replacement ($1,463.36). I still need $776.27 toward the repair. I have paid them about $22,896.00 and have NEVER had a claim. Unbelievable how bad Customer Service is at this office. They must not need customers like me that pay their bills. Heaven knows State Farm Does not!

My experience with Erin an office manager with Mel Malones office. I called to make a payment but I had a few questions needless to say I not only got answers I left so please with new details and help I wasn't expecting at all. Thank you Erin for taking the time to assist me. Your help and going the extra miles was a Blessing to someone else. Thanks again

My family and I really appreciated our time speaking with Ben from State Farm. He made us feel very comfortable talking with him about our insurance needs, and their surprisingly low rates. This seems like a great company which we look forward to doing business with in the future.

The team members at Mel Malone State Farm have always been very helpful every time I have called the office or needed attention regarding any matter! They are polite, friendly, and eager to help.
