Rod's Thrifty Mart is a family business serving the Church Point community. It is noted as a clean and neat store with a fantastic meat department, offering the best meat quality, great prices, and a tantalizing variety of cuts. The deli is exceptionally praised for its generous sandwiches, delicious pasta salads, and gourmet, restaurant-quality prepared meals at decent prices. The store also has a great selection, including wine and spirits and items regular stores do not carry. The staff is extremely courteous and provides the highest quality customer service, described as exceptionally kind and going out of their way to help. They employ local people, support their community, and make customers feel well-treated. Many customers state it is worth a drive from out of the area, becoming a regular weekly routine.
