The quality of clothing and accessories is something out of 1990. Nothing recognizable in terms of brands. Not expecting LV or Gucci, but something relevant to the year 2025 would be nice. I can't believe that a store like this can stay open but prominent stores like World Market, Anthropologie, Williams Sonoma, Dillards, Gap, Loft are not even considered.

Store is clean and pretty well organized. However is not senior/handicap friendly. No visible wheelchair or electric shopping carts. No place to sit or rest except in the shoe department.

Ordered a bunch of dresses but needed to return one. Shipped it back and received an email on June 16 stating the return had been received and it will take up to 7 business days to receive a refund. July 7 - still no refund. I was on hold forever for a live person to talk to and he told me the refund had been issued but he can’t tell me how long it will take the bank to process it. After going in circles he finally said he just issued it! So if you have a return, it may be best to go directly to the store.

Unfortunately the harassment over getting my email address has caused this to be the last time I shop here. It's borderline bullying. The last time I tried to quickly purchase a $10 shirt and was in a rush, the cashier asked me for my email address. I politely declined and let her know that bell already had my email (which it does) and that my email was long, a pain to spell out, and that I was in a rush. She then started berating me in an aggressive tone, telling me she would be graded poorly and try at she was only trying to help me out. I said thank you and walked away and she was still saying things to me as I was walking away, her voice raised. I called the manager to let her know of the incident. Today I was on my lunch break, and did not have time for this same drama to play out. The cashier was much more polite this time but he, too, also informs me he gets graded on this and that he helped me out so I should help him out, I explained that belk already has my email and politely declined. This is a dysfunctional policy that pressures your employees to bully and harass customers who simply want to shop. I shouldn't feel forced and guilted or downright harassed into giving my personal info, I should feel empowered to politely decline. Unfortunately I will never again shop at belk, neither online nor in store, bc of this ludicrous store policy of customer harassment.

It was my first time in the store today. I really enjoyed the layout and selection. The prices were fantastic and all the sales people were very friendly. Louise was a huge help. However, I was somewhat frustrated as I don't feel like the sales associates took me very seriously. I was looking for high-end men's dress shoes and solid gold and genuine Gem jewelry. A couple sales clerks did attempt to help but they did not seem very knowledgeable and just kind of left me be after I started questioning their suggestions. I also noticed the clerks were really down selling me when I was looking for specific brands and items that are not cheap, and yet I felt like they kept directing me to budget brands. I was really dressed down so maybe that's why they thought I wanted cheaper items. Not sure because I was very direct with what I wanted referencing specific high-end brands by name and specific jewelry standard (solid gold, Clark's, Cole Hann, semi precious stones, Le Vian, only natural Gems) and yet I was still being directed to lesser items. I did leave with 2 pairs of dress shoes but I would have liked to have gotten a whole outfit to go with it and some jewelry but the store assistance just wasn't there. Miss Louise, however, and her Thelma were absolute dolls. I was struggling with my toddler and carrying the large shoe boxes , she grabbed the boxes and the ladies checked me out while helping entertain my little man which I really appreciated. They nicely packaged everything and really killed it at the end. If not for them I probably would have only given 3 stars.
