Horrible customer service. Spoke with Geek squad, what a joke, one person couldn’t find Apple care but another could. Then they couldn’t cancel it. Stated the minor child that had it could only cancel it. Best Buy is a fraud ring. I won’t give another red cent to them. I hope their business gets what it deserves!

Sadly, today’s experience very likely signals that Best Buy will be one of the next big box retailers to go out of business. After waiting outside 30 minutes for the location to open we had our selections in hand in fewer than 5 minutes. We walked to the existing check out registers where a sign instructed us to use the mobile app to check out or go stand in the customer service line. That line had several people with returns who needed customer service. The customer service people had to repeatedly yell at the confused customers to form a line near the wall since the process was unclear and the crowd trying to simply pay was significant. Comically there was a Best Buy employee standing at one of the blocked off registers but he was clocking in for his shift. If the options are to pay online, or get yelled at and wait 15-20 minutes in a customer service line, for something I could have ordered from an online retailer whose trucks I drove past to get the store, I am certain I will make a different choice. I may have shopped at Best Buy for the last time. Sad.

Products aren't made by them of course, so I'm not giving them credit for that. However, SERVICE is on them. We purchased a Samsung gas dryer from Best Buy that was defective. After 3 times trying to repair it, they agreed to replace it. Best Buy messed up the order and tried to send us an electric version instead. We caught the error before they delivered it, and its been a nightmare trying to resolve it. Seems they're too incompetent to realize this is their mistake and to just replace the electric one they sent with a gas one. Instead they're trying to credit us, but only $30 towards an $800 dryer since they haven't picked up the old one yet. It would be easier if you actually had people who could speak English handing the calls, but that seems to be impossible now. So now, we've been without a dryer for a month, and no resolution in sight.

Store is fine but their restrictions during the 2020 covid pandemic were absolutely disgusting looking back on it. Because of their restrictions I was also sold a product completely different from what I wanted because they would not let us into the (very big might I add) store. We were forced to stay in the small room at the front of the store where the doors are which made no sense. Maybe if we were actually allowed in the store at the time (not squished into a tiny stuffy room) and had I got the product I wanted at the time I'd give a 5 star, but this experienced soured it for me.
