I got a full highlight with Aaron and I am obsessed!! He truly got me to the exact color I wanted to be while keeping my hair’s integrity. While working on my hair, we had the most amazing conversations and he is extremely personable. I used to do at-home hair projects, but now, thanks to Aaron, I will only being using his service. Love J. Renee! My stylist moved to the north shore so I followed suit! The salon is so cute & welcoming. You can tell the staff supports one another and social with all guests. Great experience & can't wait till my next appointment with Emma!

I booked a balayage and haircut appointment with Abbey Willman and came home crying.TLDR: didn't sanitize combs or even take other people's hair out of brushes before using, didn't listen to a word I said, cut twice as much hair as I asked for, and did a completely different dye process than I asked for and showed pics of. She didn't do what I asked her to do and what she did do, she didn't do well.I had grown my hair out for over two years specifically for long layers and ombre balayage. I brought a lot of reference pictures including pictures of myself a few years ago. I described how I wanted all of my hair to fade from my natural brown to a honey color at the bottom and said I wanted to keep as much length as possible but was willing to cut up to 4 inches. She cut 10 inches off immediately. She did foil highlights from root to end all over my head. That is not balayage or ombre. Balayage doesn't use foil at all and ombre doesn't go to the root. It was a traditional highlight. The cut and highlight weren't even good regardless of what I asked for. Because of the haircut my hair will never lay nicely like it used to and there are a few pieces longer than the others. The highlights are too blonde for my hair and border on zebra stripes from the '00s. Strangely the top layer of my hair barely has highlights and there are a lot on the bottom and behind my ears. Depending on the moment my hair either looks like it wasn't dyed at all or there are bright blonde zebra stripes visible. To make things worse, she charged me for balayage when she did highlights and there is a LARGE price difference (3x). I had a flight so I had a tight time schedule so I couldn't do much about it in the moment but my husband called while I was flying and spoke with both Jenna, the owner of the salon, and Abbey. They told him contradicting things, no one apologized, they were rude when he mentioned not cleaning brushes between customers, and Jenna said Abbey could refund the money but the best Abbey said she would offer was a 10% discount if I came back to have it fixed. NO. I'm not going to trust you to do something you so horribly misinterpreted and I'm definitely not going to pay you to fix it.Services: Haircut

I've been a client of Melissa's for about 8 years. She always listens to my requests, gives suggestions and explains anything I have concerns about. She takes her time, never rushes me out. She is flexible with my busy schedule and I always leave happy.

I have not liked wearing my hair down because it gets frizzy & is heavy in the back, until I went to Lauren. She did a blowout & cut & styled my hair in a way that took the heaviness out of the back & styling itperfectly. Thanks Lauren for getting me to love my hair!

I wanted to give kuddos to Aaron at J. Renee Color Studio. He does fabulous work and is very friendly and gives you a warm welcome when you come in. It was a great experience and he has been the only stylist that has done my hair the way I wanted it. If you looking for a new hair stylist I would recommend that you see him.

Alana is THE best! It is so hard to find someone that is good with blonde! If you know you know. My hair always feel super healthy when Alana is done with it. She's always on time and has the sweetest heart. Always asks how my day was and if I'd like any coffee. She's just the whole package! Also the salon is super clean, so cute and in a great location. 10 out of 10 for sure!
