this dealership is incompetent and not helpful whatsoever. I’ve had ongoing problems with my 2024 nissan Altima since purchase. it’s incredibly frustrating to speak to anyone there. I bought the car in January and the dealership still has the car underneath their name and many many more issues. I do not recommend anyone to purchase a car from this location! i’m still dealing with issues from them.

Horrible dealers and rude staff. Management is just as rude, and they don't care about veterans at all unlike most other dealerships. Only smiles and laughter to make sells on vehicles and then treat you like trash later on. They sell vehicles that have issues and then turn around and charge you triple what a regular mechanic shop would. Paying for extended warranty but nothing is covered under warranty, ita all out of pocket! Never buying from this specific dealership ever again. I understand business and that business is to make money, but at least treat your customers like they matter.

These people work really hard to get you in a good vehicle. Tell them your budget and they will tell you how much vehicle you can have. Something I’ve always asked for but people just won’t do it that way. My family and I are so grateful for everything.

I had an absolutely incredible buying experience at Rainbow Chrysler Dodge Jeep of Covington, LA. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and well taken care of. I want to give a special shout-out to my salesman, Grant, who went above and beyond to ensure that I found the perfect vehicle. He was knowledgeable, patient, and truly listened to what I was looking for. Grant made the entire process smooth and stress-free, which is rare in car buying. If you're in the market for a new or used vehicle, I highly recommend visiting Rainbow Chrysler Dodge Jeep and asking for Grant. You won't be disappointed!

This is the second time I have booked a service appointment through their online website, only to arrive and be told they can't find my appointment or the time is wrong. Luckily I saved the Confirmation Email showing the date and time of my scheduled appointment, which I made them honor. But BEWARE...according to them, an appointment is only a "place holder" for maintenance work, meaning you are put in the "que" and they will get to your vehicle when they get to it. I was told they often have vehicles from the day prior that take priority. Sorry, but that is not my problem...either hire more techs or schedule less appointments in order to complete work in a timely manner.
My first appointment was a routine oil change. They wanted me to leave my vehicle for the whole day, to which I replied, "For a simple oil change?" I refused and told them I would wait in the lobby. There is absolutely ZERO reason to ask someone to leave their vehicle for the day to do an oil change.
My second appointment was to diagnose an issue with the AC. Again, they asked if I was dropping off the car. I said, "No, I'll wait." This is when I was told how scheduled appointments really aren't appointments. I have had my Jeep serviced for the past 5 years at other Jeep dealerships and have NEVER been told I have to leave the vehicle...I have always waited while they changed the oil or diagnosed the problem (during my scheduled appointment time). If a part needed to be ordered OR the repair was going to take the whole day or longer, then I would agree to leave my car...and worth noting, I always had it back within 24 hours, which lessened the need to get a rental. The Covington dealership does not operate in this manner...it seems they want your vehicle for an undisclosed amount of time simply to diagnose problems (who can or would commit to that?)...which makes me wonder if it's a scam to inflate the number of labor hours...cuz how would someone really know how long it took to diagnose/fix your vehicle if they had it for multiple days? Well at my second appointment I told them I would be waiting in the lobby until I was informed what the problem was. They got it in right away and within an hour, I was told that the condensor was leaking freon. Did they have the part needed to fix my AC? Nope! They said it would take a couple of days to get it in, and my options were to leave my vehicle or bring it back for the repair. It's over 95° in LA right now...2 days for the part to arrive, then wait for them to actually do the repair (was told it would take half a day to do once started). They also required I pay for the part upfront ($650+tax+3.5% credit card fee...cuz it's not like I had $700 cash on me). I have NEVER paid for parts upfront at ANY shop that has serviced my vehicles. By paying for the part upfront, they guarantee you'll have them do the work. I was given a hand-scribbled quote (so unprofessional) for the total repair cost of almost $2,000.
At my past Jeep dealerships, they typically could get parts the same day or had a plethora of parts on-site to get repairs done quickly. Most people will agree to have the work done if they can get their vehicle back the same day/next day. I decided to call around and found a reputable shop that sent me an actual printed quote, detailing the parts and labor costs...that quote was $1,100. By offering me a printed and detailed quote upfront, they guaranteed no hidden costs or last minute add-ons. They didn't require I pay for parts upfront, they do NOT charge a 3.5% credit card fee, and the work will be done the same day. It's a no-brainer who I chose to do the repair.
I should also mention that Rainbow Jeep Covington charges a diagnostic fee of $170+...I don't have a problem paying for the time to diagnose an issue. Had I scheduled the repair with them, that fee would come off the final repair bill. They also offer a 10% military discount, not to

Brian Mhane and the service department of Rainbow Dodge went above and beyond to provide quality service. Mr. Mhane’s communication keep us constantly updated on the process. The finished product was as he stated it would be prior to the scheduled service. I would highly recommend Brian Mhane and the team at Rainbow for all of your vehicle needs.
