LOCAL CONSUMER BEWARE- THE EMPLOYEE(S) AT THIS STATION ARE SCAMMING CUSTOMERS ON GAS AND STEALING MONEY !!
On May 8, 2024 at approximately 5:20pm I handed the gas attendant/cashier at this location $12 cash money for gas (a 5 dollar bill and 7 one dollar bills), she did not give me a receipt nor offer me one. I realize now that I should’ve insisted on a receipt, that was my mistake. It was also my mistake that I did not count the cash out onto the counter, I just handed it to her trustingly with the $5 bill on top.
After paying, I proceeded outside back to the pump and it cut off at $7. I went back into the store and stated that the pump stopped at $7 when I paid for $12. The cashier argued with me that I only handed her $7 one dollar bills. I reiterated what I gave her for the transaction and she repeatedly refused to acknowledge me or that a $5 dollar bill was included with the $7 one dollar bills. I asked to speak to the manager or owner of the store and she did not respond, I asked what her name was because she had no name tag on, and she also did not respond, she only continued talking on her cell phone as she did while checking me out and other customers so it was clear she wasn’t fully focused on her job at the time. I had no other choice but to call the police under duress and file a report. The purpose of this review is to alert others, especially those who pay for gas using cash at a gas station- this one in particular. I’m sure someone will read this and think geez it’s only five dollars but to a single mom who is living paycheck to paycheck right now and counting every penny, which is all the money I had left in my wallet to get my daughter to school and me to work for the rest of the week Five dollars is a lot right now and I know exactly how much I am paying out because of the fact that I’m counting every single dollar to my name. I know what I gave her and that’s that, she either wasn’t paying attention because like I said she was on her phone talking to someone while operating the register, or she saw it as an opportunity to pocket the cash.
To the attendant/manager at this store if you happen to read this- a police report has been filed and further actions WILL be taken against this injustice to ensure the proper people with the Shell Corporation and owner of this store are properly notified about the incident. Any theft is still theft and the hardship it causes on others is immeasurable.

You better hope that you catch big O gal behind the counter in a good mood because she is horrendous to deal with. The gas pumps were missed labeled with the wrong numbers for your pump number. This gas station is about $.10 higher than the other gas stations on 190. I would avoid this place at all costs.

Has at least one pump with ethanol free gas! I finally found one close to my home so I can fuel up my lawn mower with gas that won't destroy the engine.

Stopped in to grab me some ice for my up and a coffee , oh and my lottery tickets . The lady cashier was very nice , she was chatting with customers, she greeted everyone as they walked in . Coffee was freshly brewed , I was impressed b/c midday like that most gas stations have old coffee sitting out , I complimented her on that and she said “oh no mam I like to keep it fresh “ locations been there forever just the traffic getting back in to the highway ??♀️ but they don’t control traffic . Great place to stop of passing through need quick gas , snackies etc

Don't go here if you're not from Louisiana. Trying to buy anything that requires ID will result in an employee telling you its fake because they can't handle anything not from their own state

CLOSES AT 9 (Ish) NOW NOT 10 AS PREVIOUSLY STATED BY STAFF. Y’all really need to update your hours! I was told you close for 10 but apparently that’s no longer accurate and y’all now close at 9?? Even though the web says 24hours… So tired of driving here and getting turned away. This time it was 9:30 and was told “I’m closed” - thought coming a half hour to close was more than safe to fill my gas tank and get something to drink….. I suggest spending your money else where because you’re going to waste more $ on gas driving here then you would spending it somewhere that appreciates their customers —
