The first year of our cat Willow’s life was fighting every infection know to cats!Snotty nose with multiple scopes at Vet hospitals left her with nose membrane damage and still snotty. First visit to Dr Posey and Kristi started the turn around. The acupuncture helped clear her nose - even though she is not a good patient. Now almost a year later she is doing great.Highly recommend Dr Posey and the holistic medicine approach. We travel from Florida for her services, she’s that good!

My mom and I have been bringing our pitbull, Bobby, here. He got the diagnosis of cancer in his jaw a little over a month ago; was told by another vet that he had about a week, then he would stop eating, and that would be the end for him. Bobby was honestly looking like death walking. My mom was like no we have to save him and called here and they wanted to see Bobby immediately hearing he had cancer. Essentially he has a broken jaw because of the cancer eating away the bone in his jaw. Bobby has had 3 or 4 acupuncture trips so far. The acupuncture is just really cool to see done on a dog. You can see they know what they are doing. Bobby really enjoys it and feels so much better afterwards and for days after; it’s like he isn’t in pain anymore because of it. He likes the treats they give him too lol. He usually passes out on the car ride after he done because he is so relaxed. Bobby has been on Chinese herbs prescribed to him by this vet and we were also given a big list of foods hot, cold, and neutral and have been feeding him this special diet. In just a little over a month complete 180 degree turn in health. I knew these alternative medicinal treatments would work, but I didn’t expect to see results so fast. Bobby went from looking like he was on his deathbed back to his normal self ???? Bobby is on his way to beating this cancer thanks to the help from this place.

Dr. Posey has been available to care for the difficult issues our pets present -- cats and dogs. She and her team are informative and patient with challenging visits. I appreciate her gentler approach to care as diet and supplements are considered. Thank You, Dr. Posey!

Dr. Posey and Kristi are absolutely fantastic. I had a crisis with my elderly cat and my regular vet was unavailable. They were able to see me and give my girl the treatment she needed. Their office is peaceful, calming, and Dr. Posey is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I plan to see them again. Highly recommended.

I cannot properly express how pleased I am with the acupuncture treatment that my 16yr old Bichon, Sam, has received at Veterinary Holistic Healing. All of Sam’s symptoms- weak back legs, dementia, and cough have improved! Dr. Posey and her assistant, Kristi, always show Sam the utmost care! I highly recommend VHH for your fur babies’ healthcare needs!

My 6 year old poodle had a trigger point that caused her to limp. We had 1 dry needling session and came back the next week to find the trigger point completely gone.

Dr. Posey's Chinese medicine really works! My American Bully had a problem of regurgitating several times a day, sometimes undigested food when he had been fed hours previously,; every morning he'd drink copious amounts of water then throw up that with lots of foam ad mucus. He had food allergies so I fed a high quality limited ingredient kibble, but this did not stop his throwing up and he did not particularly like it. One vet diagnosed acid reflux and recommended Pepcid AC. Another thought it was extreme food allergies and wanted to put him on a very expensive hypoallergenic dog food that seemed to be mostly chemicals. Finally I took him to the L.S.U Veterinarian Teaching Hospital for a complete work up, feeling positive they could find out what was wrong and know how to treat it. They thought he had a hiatal hernia. But after several thousand dollars worth of tests ( thank goodness he has health insurance) - complete blood work ( which was normal) x-ray,, sonogram, and endoscope with biopsies - they still could not find a hernia nor determine what was wrong with him. They did find that his stomach took a long time to empty. They prescribed omeprazole and suggested a fluoroscope as they still thought he might have a hernia. I declined the fluoroscope so they said if the omeprazole didn't work to make another appointment and they would discuss medicinal maintenance. The Omeprazole worked only for a short time. I didn't want him to spend the rest of his life on drugs so in despair I turned to Google and found Dr. Posey on the internet. She did a very thorough exam, spending over an hour with him, and prescribed both a Chinese herbal formula and a home cooked Eastern food therapy diet ( Remember Hippocrates, the father of modern medicine said, "In food excellent medicine can be found."). Well, it worked! He's thrown up maybe once in several months instead of several times every single day. I am so happy with the results and much prefer spending time cooking his food rather than cleaning up his throw up. Thank you Dr. Posey!

We have a Yorkie who has been plagued by skin irritations for a long time. Our traditional veterinarian would only treat him with antibiotics and other harsh medications. We began taking our little guy to Dr. Posey and she has been treating him naturally with great results. Her appointments are never rushed and she always gives him a thorough examination. We highly recommend Dr. Posey and her natural approach to veterinary medicine!

Dr Posey has helped my dog immensely. I originally came to Dr Posey for acupuncture and food therapy for my dog who just wasn’t feeling her best. She didn’t want to eat, she was low-energy, she scratched like crazy, and she had severe separation anxiety. We continue acupuncture monthly, the scratching has its ups and downs but overall is at a minimum, my dog loves her food and trying new foods, her energy is through the roof, and while we still work on anxiety, we’ve made quite a bit of progress. I can’t recommend Dr Posey’s holistic care enough!

We LOVE Dr. Posey! We were referred to her by our Ontologist! Seeing her was the best thing we have ever done for our dog Bobinski! She is very nice, compassionate, knowledgeable--all in all just a fantastic doctor/person! 5 stars is just not enough. She has brought our very sick dog back to life! Our dog LOVES Dr. Posey! Dr. Posey went out of her way to make sure I understood all of the information she gave me--she explained it in a way I would understand. She went out of her way to answer all of my questions. I can not say enough great things about her and her staff. Mrs. Lynn is also amazing! She calls and checks on Bobinski and makes sure that we have everything we need. I will be transferring all of my animals to Dr. Posey! Absolutely love her!!!

I wouldn't take my little cat anywhere else. Dr. Posey really cares about her furry patients. She diagnosed our kitty with Feline Leukemia and has helped us keep his immune system going strong. She recommended getting him fixed even though he is an inside cat. I was nervous about how he would handle the surgery and afterwards, but I decided to go ahead with it and my cat's energy and immune system are benefiting greatly. So glad I took Dr. Posey's advice.
