Whitney bank you should be ashamed of yourself. My daughter deposited $1000 in a savings account to make a loan to establish credit the lady said she'll call tomorrow tomorrow came. She said she needed2500. They lied and my daughter has to pay the consequences. My daughter only had 1000 so she was gonna. Take the money out and go to homebank and Whitney bank took over $30 away from that young lady ....Whitney bank. You should be ashamed of yourself. Why don't you try and help the young people in this community instead of just taken from it? I thought you was locally owned. I thought you was a part of this community apparently not...... Talk about mad........

I’m not the kind of person to leave a review on things, but the service here was so terrible I just had to make others aware. I tried to deposit a legitimate check from a different bank and they tried to put a hold on it for 7 business days when I had the funds in my account to cover it. I wish I could rate them lower than 1 star. When I asked who made the decision to put a hold on it, they said the “system”. It’s funny, because I went to another branch and they deposited it immediately. Would NEVER do business here again.

After staying on hold for over 30 minutes I finally got a flippant person on the phone that was not helpful. I am considering moving my account. I called the Covington Bank on Collins!!!

Screwed my account before a major storm..... really? The teller that was "helping" me was extremely rude. Started with: "can I help you"... like Umm yes that's why I'm here. So we tell her how much we would like in checking/ savings/ cash, and (after sending my state ID) she asks me if I have an account; she couldn't even be bothered to look up my name. So that in itself was unpleasant. She managed to mess my money up so now I have an overdraft fee and NO WAY TO PAY FOR ANYTHING AFTER THE EYE OF A STORM HAS HIT THE CITY. I can't even call the bank right now because power is out, I'm beyond angry and I'm looking to switch banks after this nonsense. The overdraft fees are crazy high, even though I put a limit on my card to not be able to overcharge they still manage to let me.

The service was excellent! My waitress was Jenn, and she was very fast taking my order but she forgot to bring the drinks to the table. Would definitely recommend this for people looking for a good quick meal.

Whitney was much better before Hancock took over. Will probably move my accounts. Had been a Whitney customer for more than 50 years.
