Would love to Love Belk, Possibilities are endless, However the in store check out experience is horrible. it is not uncommon to wait in line for 30 minutes to check out. And you can forget asking for help at the jewelry or makeup counter. The lady working in makeup literally threw her hands up in the air and said I do not have time for this when I sweetly asked if she could help me out since I had been waiting in the only checkout in the entire store for 30 minutes and was ready to leave..I had approached her in a last ditch effort only because I really wanted the tops and did not want to leave without them. They were a really good deal. But Unfortunately after being treated like that I felt like I needed to leave. Felt Like It was Inconvenience for me to shop there BIG BIG . Need better employees!!!!

Nice clothes and prices today, but dang...one register??? I had literally 14 people in front of me in line. The store was messy and NEVER any help. Good thing I enjoy the brand names and shoes. Been coming here for years but it's getting more and more challenging to get help and very crowded with racks. Great deals though.

Worst experience I had in a long time, no one working the men’s department. No one offer to help, no one available to check you out, the only employees were around the perfume and make aisle. I ask a lady let your manager know there is no one working the men’s department. And I waited for 20 minutes, went to three different pay desks, she says we only have one cashier available on the other end of the store.

I do like the selection of items, but you can never find anyone to help you, and there are never enough registers open. I will say today one lady helped me get a shirt down, which was highly unusual. Plus, the kids' section of clothes is always messy.

We ask to look at something in the Jewelry Department. Sale lady was to busy putting her merchandise away to come help us. I was ready to buy, but she keep on putting things away. Finally, after waiting awhile we left without getting what I really wanted. Juban Crossing!!

Today, 3/5/2023, I went to Belk at Juban Crossing to purchase 2 items. I was in a hurry. The line of people waiting to be checked out in the women's clothing area was long so I went to the cosmetics counter where I was met by a woman with dark hair and a foreign accent. I asked if I could be checked out there. (There were no customers at the counter at that time.) She condescendingly told me, "you can go there" and pointed towards women's clothing. I explained that I was in a hurry and needed to check out fast. She then told me to go to the jewelry counter - which did have a customer. Employees - if you don't have customers you don't have a job! Why was I refused service from this woman??? When I walked past her counter again trying to get a view of her name tag on the way out, she didn't turn around. This is beyond ridiculous. Why couldn't I have been checked out there ?? Are customers always denied service at this location????

Quick delivery, ordered on Sunday and received my package on Wednesday! I ordered a pair of boots that fit like a glove. Will definitely recommend Belk to family and friends.

Just have patience. The only place to checkout is at customer service. The line is long, but they had 3 associates working. They were very nice and the line moved at a good pace.

Had no idea what to expect from Belk. Surprisingly great values to be had in store. Lots of sales at 50, 60 and 75% off. So the lady spent a fortune. I would recommend and will be returning

The older Caucasian lady with glasses that works in the jewelry department was very rude. Real racist. I walked over to ask her was there anyone working in the area close by and she said abruptly that no one was working in that area. My response was ok thank you mam. There was two African American ladies that she had just standing there waiting, saw the whole thing. I can tell that they was frustrated because the jewelry lady was mostly helping the minority customers. As I was getting ready to leave. One of the African American ladies asked her could they get some help and her response was real firm. Well, there are other customers that need assistance as well. Her behavior was real inappropriate and needs to be addressed by management.

90% of the inventory is cheaply made and will fall spart fast. The store is bursting at the seams with clearance racks. To the point that it is unenjoyable to shop.

They have a large selection! The pick up lady was sooo nice. The cashiers were also nice ! Most of the employees are nice and very helpful. All except one on this particular day. The young Caucasian lady, with somewhat colorful makeup, at the women's perfume section was rude, and exhibited lazy behavior. First she was ON HER PHONE didn't even look up but said "be with you in a moment." Upon finishing her text or social media, I didn't really tell, she came and asked me what I needed... I asked if I could purchase an item there and she said " Check out is over there" And went right back TO HER PHONE. IF YOU ARE THAT CONSUMED IN YOUR PHONE, YOU NEED TO BE AT HOME! YOU CAN CHECK OUT AN ITEM THERE SHE WAS JUST BEING LAZY AND DIDNT WANT TO MAKE AN EFFORT TO DO SO.... Otherwise this Belk IS GREAT

My mom and I went there to buy a designer bag. I never experienced such rude customer service in my life. The lady at the jewelry station didn't wanna helps us....kept going to white people. She eventually told that we have to go to another checkout station. She couldn't even help that I wanted to look at jewelry. I felt my mom and I was judge because our skin. I would not be shopping there period. I'll be getting my bags from MK or sax fifth Avenue and jewelry Kay jewelry.
