I had booked this event over a year in advance but other financial responsibilities came up to where we can no longer use the venue. So I made the call to cancel ten months in advance. Giving Tibby Ott plenty of time to fill the spot that she now has opened. Since I’m not using the venue any longer she refuses to give the $500 deposit back that was to save my date. Well, she doesn’t need it saved so I should have gotten it back. But if I was to use the venue in ten months she would have refunded the $500. They are crooks. She has been rude since the tour of the venue. She called me a few months after we put the deposit down stating she needed me to send her my copy of the contract. She had misplaced mine. So if she can’t keep up with my paperwork then why should she keep my money! She caught an attitude very quickly when I told her that we were not going to use her venue.
