Roads are in poor repair at the campground. Quite swampy, hence mosquitoes. Peaceful. Friendly ranger.

Nice well kept park. Talked with a local while there, he says alligator are often seen there during the warmer months.

Beautiful park, we love it here!! Shady and nice. Went for Halloween weekend and the kids had a blast.

Memorable for its forest, open lake waters, and enchanting stand of cypress and tupelo trees, this park offers two boat launches and excellent fishing. The park’s trail system for hiking and biking encompasses nearly 10 miles of woodland trails. Rent a canoe to explore 11-miles of canoe trails, too.
Picnicking along the lake is popular at numerous sites equipped with tables, grills and pavilions for larger groups. Overnight options are sure to please everyone with cabins, campsites, a group camp, and a lodge.
