Went here with my youngest son to go fishing, and was AMAZED at how quiet and peaceful it was. Didn’t catch anything due to all of the invasive vegetation, but we still are planning to go again and try our hands at fishing.

My Husband and I were there camping with our CMA chapter 315 for the Burn Run. It was Amazing everyone working at the park were great. We found our site #25 very clean and everything else was the same. It may have rained our whole weekend but it was all good. We will be back for other camp outs.

About Lake Bistineau State Park
Memorable for its forest, open lake waters, and enchanting stand of cypress and tupelo trees, this park offers two boat launches and excellent fishing. The park’s trail system for hiking and biking encompasses nearly 10 miles of woodland trails. Rent a canoe to explore 11-miles of canoe trails, too. Picnicking along the lake is popular at numerous sites equipped with tables, grills and pavilions for larger groups. Overnight options are sure to please everyone with cabins, campsites, a group camp, and a lodge.
