I always like to list the pros before the cons when leaving reviews, but in this case, I have nothing good to say due to the lack of customer service and respect from the owner/mgmt. I reported my concerns to the front desk clerk (assume the owner) who grew quite offended when I told him the place was not clean and it had changed considerably since my last visit. Surprisingly, he wanted to argue with me and proceeded to tell me that I could go to the Best Western if I wasn't happy. He took offense because I requested "clean" blankets. He than told me that I made that statement because I did not "like" him. The lack of professionalism blew me away. I told him that this conversation was not heading in the right direction, therefore, I'm ending it. Of course he had to make one more mention of my option to stay elsewhere. At that point, I would have slept in my vehicle before spending one more night. When I returned to my room my card had been deactivated, leaving me without my personal belongings. Luckily housekeeping was present and let me in. I shared this with my brother who was directly next door. When my brother went to confirm my experience, he too was told that he could go elsewhere. When my brother returned to retrieve his things he was met with an inoperable key as well. It was sad that it became a little funny. Maintenance showed up to let my brother in stating that the card readers were old and needed to be replaced ?. Please people, if establishments cannot provide decent service, professionalism, and respect, they DO NOT deserve your hard earned money. I took his advice and went to the Best Western and Bambi was fantastic! She allowed me to view a room before making a commitment all while smiling, making small talk. She was amazing and the room was clean and SMELLED clean. I do hope I can find a way to upload pictures of the condition of the room. Quality Inn should be ashamed!

This place was filthy, and completely mismanaged to the max! Whomever owns this hotel should be removed from their association with Choice Hotels group. The personnel running this hotel were rarely available. Breakfast was never ready on time for all three mornings while I was there. The waffle batter tasted as if it was a week old. The mini fridge wasn't cold. The same trash was there in the dining area for three days!! Now let's get to the room. Smelled like mold on steroids!! Had to spray the entire room down with lysol. My TV didn't work and they never got someone to fix it! The microwave was dirty inside. As you can see by the pics, the bathroom was disgusting. The towels were cheap and scratchy. The real problem here is, there aren't so many hotels/ places to stay in this area so they're unlikely to bother to actually fix anything because they know people will still need a room but if they do, they need to fire everyone from the ground up in that hotel! The cleaning staff obviously CAN'T CLEAN. Only the older black lady at the front desk should keep her job. The others (tall Indian man and other lady with her kids at work with her!) NEED TO GO! This place isn't worth your money! Go to Best Western or the Casino hotel a lil further up if you can but NOT HERE!

Upon my arrival after booking a reservation thru Expedia. The night clerk fat white man with glasses, tells me he has no openings. I asked was he sure because I booked a reservation and asked if there was another quality inn in the city limits. He quickly answered there wasn't and then let me in the lobby where I followed him to the desk. He asked for my name and booking number and I stated that I would have to retrieve the information from my phone which was in the car. He stated that wouldn't be necessary and proceeded to what revealed to be a "vacant rooms" list which was infact 2 pages long. Wow I thought, no rooms available huh.. then he tells me that he can't find my account or my reservation, which later I had a email with the transaction number that indeed my account had been charged 107.95 from the reservation I had booked and paid for in advance. I then paid AGAIN for the room I later occupied in 202. The next day the owner Mr. Patel was very pleasant, and a joy to book with again. I was accommodated with the necessaries as well as appreciation for booking another night with his hotel. When I got in the room there was a empty condom box under the dresser, syrup on the coffee table, a dead roach in the bathtub as well as a inch thick of dust on the air conditioner, the filters were extremely dirty, light bulbs burnt out by the sofa, and pubic hair on the toilet seat. I was there soley for this review so of course I made no complaints. Don't want to risk anyone's job, but I have seen cleaner for less money. Other then the few all the way around the board displeasures of my experience, the only great thing about my stay was Mr. Patel, the owner.

The beds were comfortable. The hallway floors/carpet was filthy. The room smelled old and musty. The ice bucket and plastic cups must have been in storage for a long time. They had lots of little black bugs in them. After sitting outside the previous night with family members, we noticed the next morning the ash tray had been removed.

We arrived at 9am Saturday was told we could not check in until 1pm....really...?! With no other suitable option went back at 2:30pm checked in. Got to the room about 8pm the room television didn't work. The lady at the front desk that night was the only thing good about the experience, she was very helpful and gave us another room. Ok the night was disturbing , my sister got ate up(bitten) up by WHO KNOWS WHAT ? the commode was so low to the floor you were literally in a squat position just to pee...lol...an it rocked like a seesaw ?....not to mention 7am Sunday the power went out in the entire city of Franklin an my sister needed to take an asthma treatment ? the desk clerk was very rude about explaining the situation ? ?! They offered nothing for the inconvenience, we just got our stuff an left also the smell of mold or old water logged carpet was awful ?! Never again!!!!!!

We as people need to NOT support establishments that don't value you and your business especially when you are inconvenienced. I have come to the very establishment for 19 years as it's one of the only two hotels in town. There was an issue with the tub and it soaked my room's floor including my dress that hung in the closet. Though we were given a different room, no other accommodations were offered. Upon speaking to the manage, he only offered me $10. The amount of money he offered was less the issue than his nasty attitude. He then asked, "What do you wan, a free room?" It was not even a thought in my mind or my question, but I said ok. He then said he couldn't do that and the most he could offer me was $15 off my room. (That wouldn't even cover the cost of my dry cleaning.) I went on to say I will take it but I will be reporting him and he said well report me and I won't give you anything. I am not prejudice by any stretch of the imagination, but I can't help but wonder i I was a person he felt had more influence on his business, would he have responded differentl. I wasn't rude, I was calm and respectful. He was hostile and disrespectful from the beginning. I didn't mentio, I paid for my room, up front in cash. Additionally, he refused to allow me to dry my clothes in the hotel after his pipes leaked on my clothes. If you're in this town, stay in the next city over! They don't respect you, but will take your money. I will also make an official complaint to the corporate office and if I could cause him to forfeit his franchise I would do it. The customer is why he has a livelyhood. Respect is essential.

I paid for a weeks stay up front and only stayed one night and got a refund on the rest of the week, I was told my card was taken off file but this past Sunday I got a notification that they had taken another weeks payment from my account and I haven’t even been there for an entire week, I called and they said they would fix it but I haven’t gotten any notification yet of a refund, this is not how you do business! The law will be brought into it if this happens again and there will be a charge placed for theft against either the employee or the branch itself.
