Relay Station is a locally owned hole-in-the-wall general store, gas station, and casino with a giant hot foods deli that has a giant cult-like following. The establishment is older and the truck parking lot has huge potholes, trash, tires, and high weeds. While the grocery store is clean, some items are very expensive. The true saving grace is the deli, known for its excellent and delicious food that you can smell from outside. The line is often all the way through the store, with items selling out quickly. The menu includes fantastic spicy boudin, fried fish, okra, catfish, pork loin meals, greens, cornbread, mac and cheese, and mashed potatoes, all at decent prices for the portion size. The food is cooked perfectly and worth the stop, though beer is not sold on Sundays. Many customers plan to return.
