Gibson Food Mart is a convenient store located at the intersection of HWY 182 and HWY 90, owned by Thanh and Lisa Le for over 20 years. Previously a bar, this establishment has been serving the community for over 50 years. It is famous for mom’s Cajun Asian cooking, offering delicious hot food, including popular fried boudin balls and plate lunches. Customers appreciate the friendly service and the quick availability of items, like hot coffee in the morning. The store also provides grocery items, fuel options (Regular, Plus, Super, and Diesel), and a public restroom. While it may be easy to miss due to its location, Gibson Food Mart is a beloved stop for locals and travelers alike, offering snacks, beer, and other essentials in a small, no-frills setting.
We always stop by for a lil break when passing through on our way to Houma for driving lessons. Be sure to try the egg rolls and fried fish.

Love stopping at this Mart. The family to runs it are friendly, they always have what I need (usually a hot coffee in the morning), and the quick/hot food is great.
