Inadequately trained staff in the rental department coupled with unsafe antiquated equipment caused about $3000 worth of damage to my vehicle. At the encouragement of the manager, I filed a claim with their insurance Sedgwick feeling confident Home Depot would take some responsibility for this claim. Sedgwick determined that no fault on either party could be determined and the claim was denied; even though it was clear that equipment was faulty, staff was not trained and procedures were not followed appropriately. I've been a loyal, consistent, dedicated customer of Home Depot for over 20 years but not any more. I'm taking my business elsewhere. If you rent equipment, pay close attention to detail.

I never take the time to write reviews, but here we are. Never experienced more incompetent, unhelpful employees from any store. I wasn't expecting anything great from them, but I needed help to find a simple tool for applying wallpaper. I had to use my phone to find the aisle and section after asking several employees first who nonchalantly told me it was out of stock. They were too lazy to walk across the store to the aisle it was in to find it.

Never order anything online for pickup at this location. When I went to go pick up my order, they hadn't even started on it. I stood by the desk longer than it would have taken me to just get the items myself. The only reason I ordered online for pickup is to finance through Affirm since they don't accept it in store for some reason. To top it all off, they didn't have the most expensive item in my order, despite it being marked as in stock online. I was told I would receive a refund, but a couple of weeks later I am still waiting for my money back.

Home depot customer service is the WORSE. I bought a refrigerator and it is taking more then 2 weeks for me to receive it. I am taking care of an elderly person & this is a very big inconvenience. Even when I tried to come pick up the refrigerator myself, the warehouse doesn't stay open pass 11 am. I was willing to drive over an hour to get it myself.

The store is very understaffed (which is frustrating), but where they lack in staff they do well in customer service. Whenever I'm there, if I even if I just look like I'm looking for something, one of the HD workers checks to see if I need help.

Don't ask any of the workers where anything is at because they don't know, except for the lady with blonde hair that watches over self check out. she knows where everything is and she's nice I do like her! I find a lot of items are over priced compared to Walmart, etc. the plants are really overly priced. I go here only if I have to.

Uniformed, uneducated, unreliable, and unwilling to help employees at this store. Have received better help from apes at the zoo. Awful experience and sent to this store from the Highland site were the employees were will to help us. But the issue was that they didn't have the battery or edging we were seeking but from a search on their website and a call to the Gonzales store did have our things in waiting. So we paid our $1300.00 bill at Highland to then drive out to Gonzales were the unhelpful employees informed us they didn't have the battery and only one box out of ten of the edging we paid for. Hey Home Depot, get your shit together. This store gets one star because I can't give them the ZERO they deserve!

Been to many Home Depot Stores, but have never had better service than at the Gonzales store. Not only was the service great for a Home Depot, but it was awesome for any business. Desiree, Richie, Adam, and Niles helped me, among others asking me if they could help. Was very impressed and greatly satisfied with my entire experience. Home Depot HQ, please recognize this team for excellence in customer service.

It is hard to get anyone's help finding stuff, and I walked up to a register that had the light on and as I was standing there waiting to be waited on, they turned off the light and walked away. Without saying a word to me and other associates stood watching. I just put the stuff down and walked out.

It's Home Depot. Went in for a lock. They had a good selection and one of the associates help me select the best one to replace one on our storage unit. In and out very quickly over lunch.

scheduled a refrig for delivery on 7/16/18 called to confirm was transferred to delivery after 5 minutes then was told I was 1st in line for next attendant --held for another 9 minutes then was hung up on---never could get thru---wow great customer service???

I went in there last night for help and wasn't treated very good. I am currently 8 months pregnant and if I was able to lift on things myself I would have done so. I asked 2 different people if they would mind grabbing Something down for me and would help me put it in my trunk and one told me no that they don't do that and the other one said it wasn't his department to help. There are many jobs in this world and obviously they need to find a different place to work at being that they are not happy with what they have.

Very poor customer service. We went today to buy paint. There was two people working in the department and were too busy talking to each other to help us. Waited 10 min for them to finish their conversation never happened we left. Went to Lowe's wish I could give them a zero.

Steve, in Hardware, helped me find everything I needed. I was putting in an HD antenna, and Steve helped me find rubber boots, because it was raining during my installation, a coaxial stripper, a bushing to seal the hole in the floor, and screws to hold the clamps that are now holding the pole on which the antenna is mounted. Steve even tracked down a certified electrician, who runs the electrical department, to seek advice on my behalf for the project. The antenna is mounted, Steve. I am now watching free television. Thanks!
