“This is a brand new Dollar General. It was fully stocked, clean and organized! Workers were friendly and helpful. The most amazing aspect of this store was the self service check out!! The first I have seen in a DG store! This could really help to speed up time at check outs!! A fabulous option in my opinion!! This DG is located in a very rural area of Louisiana close to the Mississippi line. This new store which carries an extensive line of groceries will serve this area well benefiting two states and the people who live there. Kudos to Dollar General for expanding into rural communities to help eradicate food insecurity in America!!”
“The mess and carts full of items that are meant to be put out on the shelves are blocking off the isles. So when I have my 13 month old baby in her car seat sitting in my buggy I can't go down the isle and I'm definitely not about to leave my baby sitting in the buggy at the end of the blocked off isle to shop down that isle when both ends are blocked off by big carts that are taller than me and I can't see over them. They have got to get better with that issue alone. The pine grove store is way better with keeping the store in order and clean, since Shannon became manager that has been the most up kept store in the whole district!”

“Yes Dollar General is one of my favorite and most visited stores. Great choice for some items and so many stylists very convenient and easy to get in and out, without having to go into a much bigger store than Wal Mart. Zachary is closest so my fav. But also visits both Hooper Road stores weekly.”
