A pleasant and quiet hotel, a more or less correct breakfast...
The only downside I think is the cleanliness of the room, strands of hair everywhere and an unpleasant smell as soon as you enter the room. They come to change the towels anyway but otherwise it's okay the staff is friendly.

Perhaps the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, the only positive thing is the staff who are friendly. The hotel facilities were horrible, cockroaches in the bathrooms, the rooms were very damp, the coffee machine had old coffee with mold, the common areas were very dirty with a smell of urine, the most worrying thing is the photos that promote the hotel.

They need to remodel that WHOLE building. Why are you open knowing you have things to fix? Things that can make people sick? Me and my family were smelling mold in our rooms. Just to be sent to another room only for it to smell the same. Please do better.

Roach Motel all day. Roaches crawled across my legs in bed and were on the walls. This was the 2nd room they had given us, the first one smelled of mold and urine and the bed had no sheets on it. We were given the ground floor stage room, due to my disability, and used the parking for our cruise. Not worth it at all, worst experience I've ever had at a La Quinta. BEWARE.

The room wasn’t as good as it was the last time we stayed, which was about two years ago. The service was still great and I love the location. Short distance from the mall, bourbon street, and the cruise ports. PS: the gas station in walking distance has a kitchen and food delicious.

The rooms look nothing like the pictures. Upon arrival, I was moved 4 times due to a room not being clean from previous guests, clogged toilet, dirty make up towels, and brown spots all over the bathroom. The smell in all rooms were awful. The elevator looked like a horror filled with ripped up vinyl and water damage holes. It felt so unsafe and even had a neighbor banging on the door yelling to be let in. Left to find another hotel and returned keys next day. Refused to give a refund for nights that we didn’t stay. HORRIBLE customer service. The disrespect and attitude the employees have is unacceptable. This place needs to be shut down and demolished. I’ve never been more disappointed in a La Quinta. Will not be back.

This was the dirtiest and grimiest place I’ve ever seen. We would have switched hotels if other hotels had availability but unfortunately it was Taylor swift weekend and everything was booked. Our first room didn’t have a safety lock as it was broken off the door and was deeply unclean. The second room we were offered was dirty covered in other people’s hair and looked like a frat boy house. We had no choice but to stay as we had no other options. I had to request the linens to be changed as it was stained and ripped up. The towels were also stained and had mysterious hair all over them. They gave us 2 towels for 3 guests and we had to constantly ask for more toilet paper (we got 1 for a week) and towels. There were also stains on the walls, ceiling, linens. The bathroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a month. The lights worked half the time. It was never vacuumed and covered in who knows what. We were terrified to take off our shoes and socks due to how dirty it was. The elevator had wet panels and ripped up flooring. It felt like a roadside motel rather than a Wyndham chain I’ve stayed at before. We were the top floor and other tenants told us they had roaches on the first floor. We did not have this as we were so high up. I do not recommend. Do not stay and pay the surge prices elsewhere.

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE I came from out of town for a concert and the room had roaches and also They charge you upfront for a full night stay RESERVATION even if you cancel Ahead of time that’s the only reason I kept my reservation so moving forward the women that work at the Front desk in the morning was extremely unwelcoming and rude to me , I asked for housekeeping to come this morning to atleast vacuum and make my stay a little bit more comfortable the very unpleasant girl at the front told me I should have called lastnight and housekeeping can’t come to my room because I’m staying for 2 nights which makes no sense then I go to the front desk very frustrated as I should Be and she proceeds to tell me she going to check me out )her decision) after I Paid for 2 Nights 150 a piece , Mind you I didn’t threaten her , curse at her , or get violent ,instead of just using great customer service and assisting me the best way she could . I called the police because they were still trying to charge me for 2 nights even after kicking me out basically. Long story short if you are traveling and want a pleasant stay this horrible place is not the place . If customer service is your main concern this is NOT the place. The only person I would say had excellent customer service was their security women she was AMAZING and the only one who would assist me finding the room that was very oddly numbered they had even numbers on one side and odds on the other which was also a disaster and the elevator is outside so if your a women and traveling alone Be CAREFUL. These people only care about your Money that barely worth the money and that’s number one being the customer service which is terrible. Oh and the Best part there was NO management or supervisor on duty from what the girl told me on a Saturday MORNING ☺️
Ps I was kicked off the premises and had to walk to ihop with my luggage and book another Hotel Room . The girl at the front said management said they want me off the premises like just for expressing my inconveniences with the front desk again DO not waste your coins on this foul hotel

Do your research and look at the reviews before you book this motel. PLEASE SEE ATTACHED PICTURES. I paid $130 for the worst stay of my life. The first room we were assigned to was filthy (clearly this room was not ready for turn-over to the next guest). Unmade beds, sheets balled up on the floor, towels piled up on the bathroom counter and hair everywhere. The elevator was absolutely disgusting and had pieces of floorboard missing.. IN THE ELEVATOR. Walking back to the customer desk, we noticed there was trash all over the property, including around the pool area. After waiting 30 minutes to be reassigned to a "clean and ready" room, we entered a room that smelled of sewage and no amount of air circulation was helping. The worst part is that we didn't notice until the morning that our room was missing the fire alarm. Not only was this completely unsafe but also illegal. If I had noticed this the night before we would have left immediately with our refund. I'll be waiting to be contacted by a manager or representative regarding these concerns.
We stayed 10/11/2024 - Grenta location
Safety: Elevator is unsafe. Rooms without fire alarms are unsafe.

Nice place to stay if you are on a budget. You get what you paid for.
Only advice I have is, if you buy food don’t leave it open unattended, roaches be roaming around.

Terrible hotel - too much to list. Lobby and rooms look nothing like the photos. Don’t use the elevator - it should be condemned. Staff seemed nice, probably because they were embarrassed having to work at this hotel. Fortunately it is located right next to I-Hop, so you don’t have to endure their indelible breakfast.

I recently booked a stay at the La Quinta by Wyndham in New Orleans, expecting a smooth check-in after traveling on an overnight bus from midnight to 8:50 AM. However, my experience was anything but smooth. The minimum age requirement on Booking.com stated that guests need to be 18 years old to check in. After calling customer service, I was reassured that this was the case for this location. Yet, when I contacted the hotel directly, they informed me that the minimum age was 21. They blamed it on a “glitch” in their system but refused to honor the information I had been given, even after I was willing to pay the $30 early check-in fee.
The manager was rude and dismissive, showing no concern for the fact that I had just endured an 8-hour bus ride. To make matters worse, one of the staff members, a woman with glasses, was even more condescending and unhelpful. They turned me away without any empathy, despite the miscommunication being on their end. Thankfully, they refunded my booking, but the customer service and attitude at this location were absolutely unacceptable.
If you’re considering staying at this La Quinta, I’d strongly advise against it—especially if you’re under 21. Their customer service is disrespectful, and they refuse to take responsibility for errors in their system.
