Under new ownership as of January 19, 2024, Bayou Booksellers & Gift Shoppe has been in Downtown Hammond America for over 2 decades. With the new ownership came new and exciting renovations that included a seating area with cozy chairs, a couch, and table. We host a number of events and markets for local authors and creators. Still a customer favorite is the collection of local Louisiana themed gifts you can find in the shoppe, from platters, tea towels, local oyster art and more.
