Joe Giovingo was great to deal with! After working with several salespeople from a couple dealerships Joe was the one to make it happen. He knew what I was looking for and my budget, after several days I received a call from him saying they had everything ready to go if I liked the truck. Arrived at 6:30pm and the guys stayed late to finish the deal up. Couldnt be happier with my new truck and the way they handled things.

Bill Hood sales and service has a great sales person in Joe Giovingo! He really helped with making the purchase of the truck easy, and as they say, the little things count (as well as the big ones)! We appreciate the prompt communication and the extra attention to getting the truck ready to go. Thanks, Joe!

We’ve always loved working with Joe Giovingo in finding a vehicle. He’s helped us with purchasing my mothers car about 8 years ago. And still continues to help us with our now driving teenage daughter. He’s was always just a call away for his opinion on the best cars for teenage drivers as we were undecided as what to get. We will always continue to use Joe with all our future car purchases.Thank you

I really didn't want to go to Bill Hood bc of the bad experience I had before but I decided to give them another chance when looking for my son a vehicle. I worked with Joe Giovingo and he helped us find the car we were looking for! I highly recommend him when looking for a car! He loves doing what he does and it shows! Thanks again Joe!

I dodged a l bullet by not buying a used car from Bill Hood.I was looking at a 2011 Pilot Ex-L with 88,000 miles on it. A week prior, it was listed at $14,900. Then $13,900. If it had passed a mechanic's inspection it would be $13,200.I got the Carfax and it indicated there were three minor accidents and one between minor and moderate. I asked about it and he said they checked it out and it was fine. With that many accidents I said I'd have to have an independent repair shop look at it to make sure there were no suspension or chassis issues.Joe responded:'I been selling preowned cars for 13 years if the suspension and classy was damaged from a minor accident we would be out of business but get whoever you want just let me know. I know this Honda will check out fine just let me know when you want to do this so I can make sure I’m Available I ha a couple appointments today."I told Joe:Ok...I didn't say I thought it was damaged... But with that many accidents, it would be good to know the current condition of the chassis and especially the suspension..... Since my 17 year old daughter would also be driving it, I have to be thorough. Thank you.'He said since their mechanics checked it, I'd have to pay. The truth was he didn't want me to have it looked at, though he recommended the NAPA down the road.I decided on Dave's Full Service Automotive Repair. I see it for 4 p.m. that day and hour said it was too late. I set it for Saturday at another place and that wasn't good because the porter didn't b work that day, then I set it for Dave's again at Monday for 730 a.m. Then Joe said maybe he could get it there later in the day. I called seven different places and I had to call Dave's three times to make sure we weren't taking two times slots without him knowing.Mr. Dave said the car had issues. It shook at 45 mph and pulled hard right. He said it needed lower control arm bushings, shocks and brakes and he'd have to tear the wheels down to see if there was a problem with the bushings. He said there was multiple spray paint colors on the car, increasing the chances in my mind that previous repairs perhaps weren't done right. Dave said this would cost $2000, maybe more. He said the car was worth $8,000.When I informed honest Joe, well let's let his words speak for him:'Ok thank you appreciate the insight thank you for your time hope you have a great day!!Good luck finding a 12 year old car that doesn’t need some repair. We inspect them to make sure they are Dave to drive if you want a newer car with zero issues go buy a new car! Thanks and have a great day!!''Probably need a tire balanced I don’t know I didn’t drive in the interstate. That why you come in and test drive the vehicle we could have fixed the issue if we saw something but you start blaming people thinking I’m a bad person because I didn’t drive it in the jterstate super Dave maybe over exaggerating I have no idea I drove it to the shop and had zero issue so I have no clue what your guy is talking about so you want to buy a car I suggest you come test drive it hit self I’m done taking with you sure you will never find a vehicle lol!!!'But it has no issues. You wanting it running like it’s brand new so buy you a new one I can care less what super Dave has to say. Your being ridiculous good luck finding someone else to run your errands and find you a car good luck next time make the drive you won’t wast anyone else’s time.'The car that would have been 13,200 was actually $15,200 plus, if the repairs stopped at $2000. If his mechanics checked it out, how could it shake and pull at 45 mph? I brought up the possibility of suspension issues early on and he said there were no problems though he admitted he didn't get there car in the interstate and probably didn't get it up to 45 mph. And Joe says getting the car to mechanic to find out the true condition is a waste of his time. That's right because Joe doesn't want you know the truth. So,

I could not have asked for a better experience with buying a car. Dustin was amazing and answered all my questions. He was very patient and told me everything I needed to know about the Nissan Altima I wanted to buy. He took his time in explaining everything to me. Julian was also amazing when it came time to signing the papers. He got me down to a price I could afford and was very patient with me. These 2 men are excellent. I would highly recommend purchasing a car from them. Excellent service from when the time I walked into the door until I drove away in my new car. Thank you again.
