I have never walked into this bank and gotten what I need, whether it's depositing change, certified checks, or withdrawing bonds. This bank does none of it. The staff is pleasant. The issue is corporate.

They convert foreign currency and say they don’t charge a fee but they don’t give good conversion rates so… they do make money on the process! I would advise that you take some foreign currency when you travel but not a lot. Use a credit card! Capital One will only exchange >=$25 and will not accept coins.
