If i could give negative stars I would...I have NEVER been treated SO rudely as I was today when I entered the store with a 3 pound mini Yorkie in my purse. Despite the fact that I had to step over drug addicts and trash to even enter the store, my dog wasn't allowed in! i kept my cool only because my 12 year old niece was with me. This "woman"/cashier had the nerve to tell me to "have a blessed day" as I responded to her request with a simple "that's fine, we won't be doing any business with you" Dollar General will NEVER get another dollar from me or my family! What a shame....clean up your store and treat your customers with some respect!

Diamond and her crew are always helpful !!! I’ve never been asked in any location of DG if I needed help finding anything until I shopped here and the young man also I didnt catch his name but he even offered to check in the back when an item he directed me to was not on the shelf ? Pleasant beautiful helpful people and experience! 10/10

Nigel is the most helpful, polite, and professional employee I have ever met in a dollar general.

its not fair to complain about shelves unstocked and aisles are messy. its just impossible to get everything done in 1 day even in a week. alot of those people work hard and feel they havent done enough because of what the end result looks like. as an employee you have to do what you can on your shift and simply just do your best.

Same story in every DG store I have ever entered; thermostat set above a comfortable temperature, half their inventory in plastic bins all throughout the store, 10 minute wait in line to check out, employees clearly struggling to accomplish daily tasks... Dollar General is the epitome of the phrase, 'stack 'em high and let 'em fly...' I feel bad for any store employee, the convenience of DG locations is enough for me to outweigh any negative experience from each store visit... Those making decisions from their corporate office have not made any attempt to hide that their greed for the dollar bill outweighs any compassion for those that wear their shirts... I don't understand for one moment how any human being can suffer the working conditions put in place by their business model... I've never seen a company show so much disinterest in the well being of those that keep their doors open... I'd love to see their executive offices, or anyone from their board of investors, work one week as a store employee and walk away unscathed from the experience... Most places in this great country don't tolerate such behavior... If a few more places such as this focus their commercial properties on southern states, I guarantee it will initiate major changes in the local demographic... I would carry the can of gasoline for an employee to make their voice heard...

Customer service at the register is horrible and it brings the spirit of the holidays down. Whatever happened to greeting and engaging with your customers? What happened to having a happy and grateful that you woke up to see another day, that you are alive and have a job personality?I came in today to get some cleaning supplies in a happy mood, went to the register to check out and approaching the register I said hello, with nothing in return, the lady completely ignored me but when the customer who was checked out before me came back in because he forgot something ,she continued scanning me up and started talking to him?♀️. So I said maybe she didn't hear me say hello? So when she was done with me I made sure to say it loud and clear and I said thank you loudly and still nothing in return, she actually turned away this time. I hate this generation does not care about good mannerism and prideful work ethics. It's a shame and really bad for business. All I could do is smh, I live in a subdivision 2 minutes away and I've been coming here a long time. I have seen them come and go at this dollar general location. I now come in here only when necessary so that my spirits can stay high. Today is 12/12/21 and the time of checkout wa 11:28am.

I don't know WHY 90% of the "Dollar General" stores have so much merchandise blocking the isles. They are nearly always in the stay of disarray. This store is horrible about being so crowded with carts blocking the isles that I have often left and drove to Wal Mart. Its sort of funny that carts block the isles but their shelves are usually empty. Most of these little stores remind me of salvage shops.

Although this Dollar general had the product I needed, the restroom was filthy. The sink was full of trash, there was no tissue paper nor soap. With the pandemic raging, restrooms should be clean and availible at all times. When I spoke to the manager, en employee came forward and said she would clean it. The manager said it was bad because there was not a cleaning service to clean for them. This definitly needs attentuon.

Need to pay more attention to how long there line gets when stocking. Other than that, the people are really nice and friendly though

Love the way the manager explain to me about the new self-checkout that they have now I was waiting in line and she told me that self-checkout was now available and if I was paying with a card I could just step over there and help myself and if there was any problem she would be too glad to help
