We brought our Jack Russell here on 7/13/2020 to be spayed! Procedure would be done on 7/14/2020! $150 cash. Was suppose to pick up at 3pm on 7/14 but because of a dentist appt at 3:45, my son called to see if we could pick her up early. Dr. Garrett said no come around 4 because she is still bleeding. Our uncle picked her up, we arrived home a few minutes after he drove up. We were devastated , our Bella was full of blood from head to toe. She could not walk, she couldn’t even hold her head up. Our uncle said when he picked her up the whole room was full of blood. I immediately called an after hour vet. We took her there, had an ultrasound done to see if there was fluid inside. Which Thank God there wasn’t. She was in pain, Dr. Garrett gave us no meds and no instructions. Emergency clinic gave her pain meds, antibiotics, sedation, wrapped incision, and clean all the blood off of her. We were there for 4 hours. Because of COVID we had to wait in the truck and couldn’t be with her. We took her home not knowing if she was going to make it or not. At 8am on 7/15 we took her to our regular vet, who we didn’t use to do the spaying only because it was a month wait, there concern was infection and stitches on inside busting open. They gave us a prescription of antibiotics and wrapped her again to help with stitches not busting open. We have to go every 2days for 10 days so they can rewrap and check incision. This is the afternoon of the 15th, she is doing better. Please, Please do not use him! If you love your dog at all please don’t do it!

Do not bring your dog here. I brought my dog Bella here on 7/13/2020 to be spayed. $150 cash On 7/14/2020 my uncle picked her up. We arrived home a few minutes after he did. Our Bella was covered from head to toe in blood. She could not walk, she couldn't even hold her head up. We had to take her to an emergency vet. They had to give her fluids, antibiotics, pain meds, sedative, and cleaned all the blood off of her. We were there for 4 hours, they let her go home with the understanding that we would bring her to our regular vet. We didn't use our regular vet because they didn't have another appt available until August. We brought her to our regular vet this morning. They gave us a prescription of antibiotics, and rewrapped the incision. There main concern is the inside stitches busting open, which is why we are keeping it wrapped. She is doing better thanks to the other two clinics. Do not use this vet.

Brought dog to this vet to get fixed went and picked her up full of blood doped her up so much she can’t even walk. Would not recommend at all. This place NEEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN! My dog is hurting! I looked up reviews before bringing her and saw a similar review to the one I’m writhing but he was the only vet that could do it this month

brought to get my dog fixed. very unsanitary and very unprofessional. man called me back 2 hours later and my dog was laying in a puddle of blood and was whining. he did not give me any medicine for her and did a very poor job on the procedure and had to bring my dog to a ER so she did not die in the next 5 minutes. the place was a disaster and he does not even take card only cash. i would not recommend this place and i hope it gets closed down. he does not deserve to handle any type of animals because he has no idea what he is doing.

I went to bring my chocolate lab to get fixed and when I went to pick her up she was laying on a bed of newspapers on the ground soaked in blood. If i wouldn’t have went to get her at that time she probably would of bled out. I will never go back to Dr. Garrett ever again. The office was unsanitary, unsterile and very dirty. I would never recommend this place to any dog lover. Dr. Garrett has no business being open to the public and should be shut down immediately. I had to bring my dog to the animal hospital to get stitched or she would of died in the next hour.
