Fresh, fast food. Friendly service. Fun atmosphere. Music was too loud though. I love music. But, it doesn't need to be so loud that I can't hear or speak to the person right next to me.

I have been coming to La Carretas for a long time and have never been more disappointed in an experience at any restaurant I have ever been to. The manager came up to our table and fully took our drinks off of our table simply because we were sitting with an ex employee. She did not even check our ids, which we are legal, and just kicked us out of the restaurant. I will never return to this La Carreta location ever again.

So I went here yesterday first I ordered a margarita on the rocks and it was meh not impressed at all, my wife ordered Mexican style taco that were also meh. Much better option available in Hammond.

Bartenders are pushing mezcal drinks with no mezcal in them. Bartender said they ran out within the last week and are just substituting tequila. Not what I would expect from a Mexican restaurant.

I love La Carreta Hammond! My absolute favorite place to go for any occasion. It’s great for a lunch spot or dinner with my friends. My #1 choice every time. The delicious food is always an added bonus.

Food was decent, but also bland, the guacamole was basically just avocado and lime juice and all you tasted was the lime juice, refried beans were cooked well but just lacked seasoning and flavor and that goes for the rice as well. I ordered the steak fajitas and it did come out hot, the meat was nice and tender but the pieces were really thick or cut in large chunks, service was okay but if the server doesn't care to work with latins then she probably shouldn't work there, talking down about them really made for a bad experience

Customer service workers were amateurish. Did not bring or offer menu to only patron at bar. Management and bar maids were upset with lack on attentive and focus on them when another woman approached me. It’s impossible to have a drink in peace when you’re constantly being mean mugged by a bartender. So I eventually began ordering drinks from the counter.
