Go somewhere else. So frustrating. They couldn’t find my doctors account and wanted to charge me $2200. Called me to let me know they found my doctors account and told me to come back the next day. I did and then they wanted me to wait for 4 hours. Needless to say I left. Horrible service.

I went to this quest to have blood work done. My doctor told me when I arrived to get them to call the office for my lab orders and her office would fax them in. I told the person who waited on me what my doctor said to do. She got ugly and told me that they did not have a fax machine they did everything on the computer. I told her I would call my doctor, and she said do what you want to do. I called the doctors office and I got a recording I told them I was told that they didn't have a fax machine at the Hammond location, and asked them if they could verbally call my orders in. She then told me if they got the orders I would probably have to wait for 30 minutes to an hour. I told her I would leave and come back. She then handed me a card and said this is our fax number. What??? I just walked out and I will never go back there again. Sad!! I drove to the Mandeville quest and they called the doctor and got my orders quickly. I will have my lab work done there from now on. 18 miles away, but worth it!!

I go to this lab for all my family's blood work. The employees here are absolutely the best at what they do. Scheduling an appointment is so easy on their website and with an appointment, I have never waited more than 5 minutes to be seen. Thank you!!

I have been a patient at Quest for more than a decade. Due to impaired vision and now cancer my husband has always been able to accompany me for my lab appointments.The tech Matoya said he could not accompany me today. When I asked why she said there wasn’t room. I explained why I needed him but she said NO. I have chemo tomorrow so I had no choice but to procede and went back alone with Matoya.I had to sign something I couldn’t read and wasn’t explained or read to me. I asked what if I needed help. She said “that’s what we are here for”. I definitely know she couldn’t help me if I needed it because I am a NURSE. I explained if my husband could not come with me in the future I would have to go to another Quest. Her response was “that’s OK with me.”This tech definitely needs coaching on patient relations, how to be respectful and helpful to the elderly and when necessary, accommodate thePatient. Since my private insurance has a contract with Quest I will be filing a formal complaint regarding this. I will advocate for another lab vendor when the contract is up for renewal. It is really sad that a sick patient has to be treated this way. Is this how you would want to be treated?

Even Quest is a good lab they need to have a front window that will handle clients and accept specimens. Ridiculous to wait in line to drop a required specimen. In addition, i would suggest they review their container requirements. If a specimen requires a clean container that should not be rejected because it is not sterile. Compliance should review your specimen requirements and rejection policy and if necessary retrain personnel.

This is the most unorganized, unprofessional lab you could visit. This place needs to be shut down. I had fasting blood work for type1 diabetes meaning I can't eat till this is drawn. I checked in at 7am and proceeded to wait while they tended 15 other ppl in the lobby. At 8am I told the nurse and I was informed they don't do walk ins even though everyone else I spoke with in the lobby was walk in also. I proceeded to have a hypoglycemic event because it took so long. I couldn't wait any longer and the nurse just laughed at me when I told her of my low blood sugar when I began to convulsed. This place needs a lawsuit and prompt closure

Sitting here waiting for my appointment and they admit that they are letting others go in front of me that checked in after my 1:00 appt.. I was here 8 minutes before my appointment. They were to blind and lazy to see me!! The text I got said to be seated that I didn't have to check in again.

I was 15 minutes late to my appointment. I tried to use the tablet to check in but it locked up twice. When a staff member finally opened the locked door to live people, she pressed a few buttons that made me believe I was checked in. My name never appeared on the list as checked in. Several walk ins came and went while I continued to wait. I checked in again using a different tablet and my name finally appeared. I had been there for 25 minutes while people without appointments came and went. My name disappeared from the board, I waited another 10 minutes. I tried asking staff to help me but they could care less about people in the waiting area. They saw me there for over 30 minutes and did not inquire if I needed help. Instead, they did their best to avoid me. I will never go back to this unattended location again.

I arrived as a walk in. No one was in the waiting area. After trying to check in, someone in the back cut off the lights as if to appear that no one was there. I waited a few minutes longer and even tried to call someone via my phone. No one tried to help me or let me know anything at all. I will not be coming back here. Completely unprofessional to hide in the back and not assist a patient, even if just to say they are not taking walk-ins.
