“Los Primos Supermarket – Underrated Gem in Hammond!
We visited Los Primos Supermarket in Hammond after a fun family trip to Heather’s Pumpkin Patch, and the food here totally impressed us! Everything was full of flavor, perfectly seasoned — not too salty or heavy like many other places. You can really taste the freshness and care in every bite.
Honestly, this place is way better than the Google rating shows — it deserves a lot more love. If you’re in the Hammond area, definitely stop by Los Primos for authentic, flavorful food.
And if you’re heading back toward the New Orleans area, make sure to visit The Original Italian Pie in Kenner — another local favorite where the pizza, calzones, and salads are just as full of flavor and heart!”
“We went for the Grand Opening and liked the nice wide aisles and good prices on some things we buy. I gave it 4 because not everything we buy is available there but we will go back occasionally. The employees were super nice and friendly which is a lot better than some other similar places.”
