I booked a last-minute hair appointment this morning at 9 AM (appt was at 11) through JCPenney's website and got serviced by Ms. Catessa. She was timely, knew a lot about hair, and was really nice. She took her time with my hair and made me feel comfortable since it was my first time being serviced there. Ms. Catessa is definitely a 10 out of 10. I'm super happy I went!!

Posting under my husband’s name but my 2 daughters and I went to get our hair cut. I had made an appointment for us online. When we got there the person we had an appointment with was not there. Mrs. Quiniece greeted us at the counter and was very helpful. She did not speak poorly of her co-worker who left her hanging all day. Instead, she looked at her schedule and gave us options for being able to get in with her for our scheduled time. She took her time cutting our hair and we all three looked great by the end of the appointment. She could have said our guy wasn’t there and sent us on our way out of luck. I am so grateful for her and how well she took care of us. If you see her on the schedule for an available appointment choose her! Thank you Quiniece! -Rach-Delilah-Anne-Annabelle

Kiersten has done my hair one three different occasions now, each time putting a perm in my naturally super straight, super thick hair. She is super nice and very professional. Due to the nature of my hair the first perm did not take. She had no problem going in to fix it and it held the second time. I am currently getting the perm redone now since the first one was coming out. I love how I can just walk in and set an appointment that works for me. I highly recommend Kiersten.

Got there at 6:40 and said they weren't taking anymore customers. They were on their last ones and leaving. They don't close til 9!! You'll never get our business!!!!

Ms. Jamie was awesome! She was very attentive to my requests, and she cuts very good layers! My expectations were met above and beyond! I would definitely recommend her at this salon, as I had a wonderful and professional experience!

Got there at 10a and didn’t leave until 2p. It took 3 hours for a supposedly silk press and black rinse? I hate my hair! I’ve been natural 3 years and this was the first time I’ve put heat on my hair. I paid $70 for a hairstyle that I could have achieved at home? So disappointed, management said she would redo my hair free of charge but at this point I just want my money back!

So first.. my mother was searching for a simple dressy white button down shirt for work... we could not find ANY except for plus size and in on tiny section where her size was not available. Second omg is all that scented stuff necessary??? Way too much of it next to the register! I could not physically wait with her in line!! I could not breathe and made me choke! Y'all should seriously think of that when setting up displays. I understand you want it near the register so people grab as they see it at check out but WOW if I had been shopping for myself I would have put everything down and walked out! Many people are allergic to scented things such as these I guess potpourri.. so I would have left because I could not stand in line.

That skinny Yellow chick messed my hair up I asked for a silk press and she used a cheap flatiron... nothing else. That's not a silk press. They called to check on me to see how my hair held up because i wasn't happy (AT ALL) she said she was going to see what she could do to fix it and I haven't heard anything since... I will never go back I wouldn't even take my dog there to get groomed!!!!

I decided on 4 stars because of the customer service! Tyra was very helpful and understanding. She also did a great job styling my friend's hair. So, my friend needed a last minute hair styling, without an appointment, and the store was closing early (because it was Fourth of July). My friend decided to elope with her fiancé and I was in charge of helping get everything in order. Hair was one thing top on the list before they left. Tyra was able to get my friend in and make her look beautiful! So thanks Tyra for helping to make me Maid of Honor of the year and making her a beautiful bride.

Now i see why JC Penney's are closing. Horrible custom service. One cashier, line of people. Waited for what seemed like forever. Was finally told to go to jewelry counter but she was closing. As i walked away i was obviously not happy and was told to "bring them here by that cashier ". No thank you!!
