Extremely rude staff at the UPSP location in Hammond. Incompetent. My package was requested to be held at the post office. It has said it was there. The first time I went to pick it up it was picked up by the wrong carrier for some reason. I was told by the supervisor over the phone I could return today to pick it up and now it is picked up again by the carrier. They won’t provide me with tracking info. It just says the package is at the post office but it is not.

Was unable to ship a package for whatever reason. I've never had any problems getting packages from other shipping options. Instead of holding for any amount of time, my package was immediately shipped it back to Australia. So had to reorder from seller.
Tried to call the Hammond Louisiana post office dozens of times to request that they hold my package so I can pick it up, no answer. This second package is now out for delivery and I'm not sure how to get my package if they are unable to deliver it for whatever reason.

Paid for a package to be delivered Priority Mail 1-3 business days on 3/4/25, it still has not made it's destination. This is completely and utterly ridiculous! This was a King cake sent to family, now they have to trash it and wait until next year. From now on its FedEx or UPS!!!

How do I have two packages that make it there on the same day (two days delayed already) and only one goes out for delivery. The package that made it there after 8am gets delivered but the one that gets there just after 7am doesn't get delivered. I went to the post office because I need the package for this weekend and they told me they can't help me. USPS has gotten so pathetic. I paid for packages to be delivered by a certain date. It's not my problem they can get their crap together. Somebody needs to be held accountable for the constant 2+ day delays of packages. Packages staying 2+ days at the hub is a joke.

I raised several issues with them about a missing package, the link to the usps website does not allow you to put in a missing mail request. I tried several times, but the website always ended up kicking me off. Upon raising these issues with their customer service, they never resolved anything. Eventually, after speaking with the United States Postal Service of New Orleans, The package arrived over 2 1/2 weeks late Completely damaged. The electronic inside was damaged on the screen and did not turn on. It would have been helpful if at any point, you would have acknowledged the problem, But you did not. You blamed it on the weather we had on 22 January despite this package being missing since January 11.

Never picks up the phone. Mail person on our root stoped putting mail in our mail box after putting our neighbors mail in ours and we filed a complaint.

Where to start. I ordered a package and got it straight from the delivery guy and the box was empty inside. I’m sure the delivery guy took it and made a report and everything. But then I ordered again and I want to pick it up and this big woman is very rude and no help at all. Talks down to me and when I go the next day like she told me my package is not there anymore. There’s no organization whatsoever. Very rude woman.

We use this post office for my job and we have never had issues until now. We almost always have mail everyday and now all of a sudden they are telling us mail man doesn’t come by unless he knows we have mail, how will he know if he don’t come in? We do not have a mailbox! These people were very rude to my manager!

For the past week or more my place of business has not gotten ANY mail delivered. We know for a fact we have at least one piece of important mail that gets sent to us everyday. We finally got it delivered a few days ago after calling and making a complaint. Today we had mail to be picked up and sent out, bills and such, but our mail man literally ignored us. We watched him pull into our shopping center, walk past us back and forth several times but paid us no mind. Again, we called and let them know we have important mail that needs to be sent out today and cannot wait cause of the fact we do not know how much longer it can wait with it being withheld from us the week before. First woman said she would sent someone right away cause by law they have to pop their head to check if we have anything outgoing. Over an hour passes so we call again, same thing. An hour after that another guy answers and says he cannot force the mailman to pop his head in if there is no mail for them to drop off to us… makes no sense. Literally talked to us like we were children throwing a tantrum, telling us to just put it in our box and lay the flag down. We do not have a box… he then proceeded to hang up on us. I hope things change soon and the right thing is done.

I work for a local business in Hammond, and for at least 4 weeks we haven’t been getting our mail. With that we also weren’t able to give our outgoing mail out. We had to bring up our mail to even get it sent out. Today on January 29, 2024 He parked directly in front of our office in our shopping center. He completely passed us up and didn’t even stop by our place. We had to chase him down and he still drove off. We decided to call the post office to get everything figured out. The first time we called, the guy was very apologetic and understanding. We then had to call again because an hour had gone by with nothing. The lady we talked to let us know it required by law for the mail men to stop at a place of business if we do not have a mailbox ( which we don’t) even if we have no incoming mail. We then had to call a third time, and the guy was EXTREMELY rude. He talked to me like a child explaining how a mailbox works. Even though I told him several times we do not have a mailbox. In the end he ended up hanging up on us. Extremely unprofessional and rude!

Two weeks ago, our mailman did not stop at our place of business ONE DAY of the week! So, for a whole week our bills/mail was just put on hold. We had to deliver our mail that needed to go out ourselves. When we called to notify them, they said they don’t have to come unless they have mail to go out. I know for a FACT we got at least one piece of mail for 5 days! Today, he stopped in our shopping center and drove off while we tried chasing him down for our mail to go out. Again, when we called to tell the post office we need him to pop his head in when walking past our suite to make sure we don’t have any mail going out, we were told to put it in our mailbox that we don’t have and he doesn’t have to check our office unless has mail for us. They are so unprofessional and rude and I pray the company gets put in better hands soon.
